All those Landraces being bred back and forth I'd be singing too shit hahah! I've only personally had like one Chocolate strain, so I'm not very well versed in them, though I have Chocolate Cheese going right now, and I do have some Chocolate F2s I think they are, that I'm planning on running probably after this season. I'm a huge fan of Chocolate though; You'd think I was PMSing if you ever saw me whack a whole bag of Lindt. Those Landrace strains though.... I get intrigued by the things they are used to breed because the flavor and smell can vary SO much. That HTAF must have a heck of a Terpene Profile !

I'll tell ya that chocolope is one hella strain...a classic for sure..Ranks up there with super lemon haze...Used to be alot of GG going around here that had a real chocolate smell

I just looked into the parents of the one I've got, and I was VERY happy to see it !
Tom Hill's Deep Chunk X Chocolate Trip from Dutch Flowers. I ended up reading more into it when I was replying to the Sativa thread and MAN, I haven't ever had the Deep Chunk, or the Chocolate Trip, but after seeing what they did I can't help but wonder what that smells like LOL!
Here in Michigan Gorilla Glue seems incredibly popular, but I've never actually grown it myself. I've helped take care of a few plants of it but they weren't mine to play with so I just helped water and trim when they were pulled. I've read that Chem's Sister was used in the breeding which of course grabbed my interest but I'd want to phenohunt it and select which one to grow and clone cause I've also seen some not so great GG before, and I didn't like it. I know the potential is there because I've had it done right before and it was great.

GG alone is lacking imo..I'm sure we don't live far apart and the GG is the same... Personally not a big fan..Perhaps it's more like a breeding tool like PCK ?. Fuck I dunno..but it's definitely lacking

You know you may well be on to something there because I've had crosses where GG is a parent, and they were straight fire! Grease Monkey for example, is a great plant in my limited experience, and puts off smells very similar to Motor Breath, and has beautiful coloration once it's cold. Massive plant too so it's like, somewhere in the genetics of GG is some straight fire, but you have to bring your own wood LOL.
