Alright, starting up this journal mid grow being I'm new to the site. Thanks for helping me with naming this journal Jewels lol...

This grow was my first time running 1 gal fabric pots of coco. I did the last run in rockwool and liked it a lot but wanted to try coco, so here I am.

16 Plants, 7x7 canopy in an 8x8 room. 5 strains, There Is 9 platinum cookies, 3 dragon cheese, 2 violator kush, 1 pre 98 Bubba, and 1 lavanda cream.

This crop was vegged for exactly 4 weeks from planting in the fabric pots until flip. Currently fertigating 4 times during the light cycle, half hour past lights on and every 3 hrs after. I'm using Botanicare nutrients along with beneficial bacteria and trichoderma, and doing a light maintenance flush with enzymes once a week. Right now feed is about 80/20 pbp grow and pbp soil bloom, with calcium silicate and potassium silicate. EC 1.3 ph 5.8-6 Last pic was a few days ago at day 17 flower. Today is day 21.

That's it for now, Mothers day today so I gotta go pamper the wife lol. Questions or comments, fire away. Enjoy the show! 20200318_000915.jpg 20200413_202350.jpg 20200418_211628.jpg 20200430_145813.jpg 20200506_175722.jpg

Lol thanks man. The netting is split down the middle and held together with cordage so I can untie it and push the center benches to the side. Let's me get to the middle of the room for maintenance, but just barely. Honestly after the last cleanup was finished after the stretch, I dont plan to go in there anymore until it's done, unless I get a plugged irrigation line or something. But I'm running naked ends on 1/4" line and have a filter inline so it's unlikely.

Here is how it looks split. Not much room, but I'm ok with that lol. 20200504_210738.jpg

So next question DB...

Its been dirt then to rockwool now to coco all with improving results.

When is the Co2 coming? Ooooo Yeah
Lol no man. Dont do that lol. I gotta get more light in here first. Thinking of dropping some 2x4 LED panels on the outside of my 1k's. If I get that done, then maybe Co2. Maybe...

But it's a cost thing too, I do pretty good already and I'd have to consider the extra cost of running AC and Co2 and more lights plus the extra work loading tanks down the hill... I'm not convinced it's worth it in my situation where my climate is ideal for a ventilated setup.

I think you will offset on the AC, higher temps are not so much an issue with Co2. Its a small enough room bottled is a good option so the only challenge will be sealing it up and i know your more than capable and save on not having to run exhaust fans. MOAR light yes yes... always good.

I think Co2 is more viable and beneficial to setups like yours that are already close to max performance. I bet you would see a large increase in growth rates. Plus if you run co2 like 600ppm for the first week or so and then drop down to the same for the last 2 weeks cuts down on waste. I find anything over 1200ppm is a waste. I would honestly think you would be close to a grow with a single 20lb tank. You can go into that setup as little as once a week im guessing?

Don't make me beg Mr.Dirt I'm not above doing so lol

If you haven't buy next spring, i'm moving out there. I have a spare tank, regulator and solenoid. I even have a shit 1500ppm preset controller I will drop off on the side of an undisclosed road for ya. lol I'm not pushy at all

Well, I do have a spare 20# Co2 tank already from homebrewing, and a 10#. Just need to get the 20# hydro tested.
Maybe we can work out a trade for some megacrop ??

And yeah if I ever get around to rigging up the AC condensate pump on my runoff bins, I'd only need to go in the room once a week. As it is I go in every other day to dump the runoff.
