I'm in! First ever outdoor grow (outside of some highschool shenanigans). These are both in a "super soil" I'm trying out for the first time. All Coast of Maine products except the coco is from Mother Earth. Potting mix, lobster compost, fish bone meal, alfalfa meal, worm castings and perlite round it out.

This is from the 22nd. The FSxFC has doubled in size since then!

Pics from last week, but these two are doing well in their new shoes. Thinking one is a male at this point, but that's ok as I'm needing to refresh this seed stock anyhow. Not ideal pollen chucking but good enough for now. I definitely need to do a neem treatment, something is eating these.

It's getting so green back here it's hard to tell the plant from the background!

Bugs have been getting at the Forum Stompee x Forgotten Cookies a bit, but not as bad as they got my eggplants! Had 12 starters, now I have 5!

I wasn't going to do any training on these, but sometimes my ADD gets the best of me, so I super cropped the Ketama. 20200602_175600.jpg

Other than the bugs, outdoor growing is great! The plants just do their thing and there's no electric bill!

We have been hammered with bad weather the past week. It actually got down below freezing and the plants got an ice water (sleet) bath....finally moved kerosene heater out with them.

Winds were over 50mph but somehow they survived. Today after 3 days of decent weather they are almost back to normal, but we are getting winds again this weekend so the heater stays put.

The High Sierra is totally unpredictable..even in June.

I noticed this evening that I have something going on. IDK if I am overdoing the neem oil application, I have a nute issue, or maybe I watered in the morning overhead because I need to keep soil moist for Nematode application I made and they got sunburned? I have never applied neem to marijuana so I am still learning what she will do. I will post some pictures tomorrow. Its a sour diesel clone. I better start doing some searches.

How much neem r u mixing with ur water and r u adding a little dish soap?
I use about 2 tbl per gallon I normally spray them as the sun is setting. I never water overhead but I dont think that's a problem unless you are doing it in the middle of the day.

I mix 2 TBL each of neem and Dr Bronners castile soap. I also put 10 drops of rosemary, clove, peppermint, and marigold essential oils/ gallon. I have been adding orange oil too but read its bad for plant leaves so I will stop that. I do orange to repel ants. I never water overhead either. I use drip irrigation but I need to keep soil moist for 2 weeks for the beneficial nematodes I applied to the garden. I watered about 2 hours before sun would be up high. Heres a couple pictures I just took. 20200614_104402.jpg 20200614_102604.jpg 20200614_102551.jpg 20200614_102350.jpg
