So I planted this gal back in April on 4/20/20 i was really excited since this is my first grow and i thought why the hell not. Any way this plant went through the 7 gates of hell and is still here some how. I started this bean in plan topsoil with no perlite. I didnt have any at the time and i have grown here and there before but never to harvest. so in may while she was outdoors still it rained excessively for a week , I was out of town and my fiance couldnt life the pots with all that wet soil ip the stairs so i had to just wait and see what i came home to. I got home and almost all of the 8 were dead but 2 we will call them Qbert 1 and Qbert2 so after a week of being on my porch to dry out i finally decided to move them in.

june was a tough month for these too because they were so sick from overwatering it somehow stunted them. finally by June 3rd they snapped back and were growing fine again so i mainlined both of them by the time I got to the second set of topping to create the 4 mains one of my plants sprouted balls. I didnt induce any flowering yet because i thought it way too early these still looked like early veg pics i saw online and were over 2 months old now. I killed off the male and was lucky enough to get it before it pollinated. so after doing so I spent all my attention on my remaining plant Q #1 I was so scared that this one would herm that i just left it be at 4 mains and didnt top for a very long time again. Not until 7/10/20 did I top it one last time but only on 2 of the mains. which on one turned to 2 and the other turned to 4 so now there are 4 main tops 2 with single colas and then there is one with 2 colas divided on the very top and the final main has 4 little tops coming off of the main stem. After I checked on these a week or 2 ago I finally saw a few little pistils and was so excited to finally have a female especially after all i had been through with this girl (over watering, under watering, topping too early, crazy bad fungus gnats) but what im concerned about is if this could possibly be an auto that I over stunted and is just now mature enough to flower or does that not happen?

Here is Q-Bert #1 today 8/24/20 it almost looks as if there are buds forming all up and down the stem of the cola and on top of the bud sites. what i don't understand is I didn't change the lighting at all still 18/6 on a timer. I was going to wait another week or two and let her get some more foliage and bigger bud sites before i flipped her. should i just flip it now or should I ride it out and see what happens.

Well, as to not sugar coat anything you admittedly said the plant has had a very hard life to date so far. This can have a great hand in what you are dealing with now. If all of your plants from that seed stock are seemingly showing their sex after one month like you say even under 18/6 light schedule, then they most likely arent photo seeds or there is something seriously wrong in one of your growing methods.....or both :p.
Since you are in flower already and you say you arent about the yield but more so learning then I would just let it go into flower. Any reverting back to veg (if it even does it) will only delay things by weeks. You likely wont get much from it either way.
ok thats what im gonna do then i will probably put...

How long has it been under the 18/6 light timer? That plant is flowering. Maybe run it under 24 hrs of light (remove timer completely) and see what happens? If it keeps budding, it may be a ruderalis seed or just has a ruderalis trait that is being expressed on that particular plant. Possible your timer needs to be replaced? Possible the timer is set incorrectly & lights are off when they arent supposed to be?

thanks for replying so fast! I first had this plant outside for the first 2 weeks, then I had it in an all white bathtub surrounded by mirrors on the wall and now it is finally in a grow closet i outfitted to be exactly like a grow tent except it has white walls and no mylar. there is no way my timer is bad or shutting off. im a one of those check every hour on my babies grower so i would notice if it were off. but it is under a cheaper amazon 1000w blurple light now and was originally under these full spectrum 32w Leds from home depot but i took them down and replaced them with the blurple. i have my good genetics from brisco, purple city, and alphakronik under a mars hydro full spec at the whole other side of the closet. its a big closet. and i was planning on putting up a light divider since the closet actually has two doors and could be separated that would give me 2x) 4x4ft grow areas.

its very interesting you say about maybe it has some kind of ruderalis genetics in it or something because all of the ones i planted from that strain showed there sex very early i had most die before they were 6 nodes high but the few that lasted one was a male and showed that about a month into veg and the other one ended up being a female but when i went on vacation my little cousin watched my house for me and when i came back it had balls on the one branch so i killed it. now the final one is this Qbert #1. Do you know why a ruderalis would have taken this long to flower its been almost 4 months ... this is honestly the first thing that popped into my head because of what happened with the others but then i was thinking maybe the light isnt strong enough. I have it at about 20in from the canopy and it only has one setting but i figured 1000w pulling 120w from the wall should be enough to keep a single plant from flowering especially at an 18/6 light sched. maybe im wrong idk but this has me a little confused.

so what your saying is do a 24hr schedule to maybe reveg it or do you think if i let it go i will at least get a little somthing off of it? Im not worried about some crazy yeild.. this is more a learning experience plant.. Im just after what would be my best option at this point. thanks for all your help in advance
