Question Quick questions

Hello everyone, I have a couple of unrelated questions. Just some things I was thinking about or what have you. First question is for those who are running RO systems, anyone using a TAM3 filter, if so, was it worth it, etc? I haven't looked much into it or really know anything about it but I just ran across one and was curious.
Second question is, and again, extremely lazy and have done absolutely no leg work here either. Hahaha, but I was thinking I may have found an actual use for flex seal. You know what products I'm talking about. Well, I'm not exactly trying to build a boat out of it or anything, but I was wondering if anyone has looked at using it as grow tent patch? More specifically, light leaks, I'm thinking about seams right off the bat. At first glance, it seems like it would be so much better than any of the 3m tape I've seen. But, I mean, cmon, it's Flex Seal.... Anyone know if I'll kill my entire family the moment it hits 88 degrees per hour, degrees? Haha. Just a couple stoned thoughts I finally got the motivation to text about and not actually research at all.

Flex seal has an extreme temp range of -80F to 350F with a recommended operating range of 32F to 150F.... so you should be fine. No indication on the packaging here anywhere that it would emit fumes of any kind within that range

No help on the RO question, sorry brother!

Can't really help on either one :ROFLMAO: but i like the flex seal idea for the light leaks on the tent. I have my first tent a Gorilla and i was amazed at the amount of small light leaks like you speak of. I have sense changed my lung room light schedule so the leaks are not a concern right now but i was trying to think i something like that to use so if you do try it keep me posted how it works for you.

I use Flex Seal on some of my buckets to block light. I can say it does work for that. Makes them a bit more rugged also.

Just make sure to sandpaper the heck out of the item you're painting if it's plastic.
Cool, thanks. Yeah I know the stuff is actually pretty cool. I mean, for what it is. Problem I've seen, at least initially, is the scam cans they sell. They feel like half full brand new. But look at the size of that can!!! Hahaha. Yeah, im going to give it a shot. Been told not to eat it but other than that, you should be more than fine on a tent. Vent it out and off before you move forward with plants etc. Probably don't do the interior of pots and surfaces like that, contacting surfaces. But I definitely see the idea you have for pot density. I'll definitely report back. Can't promise it will be very soon unfortunately, as I have basically just started a run. As I'm typing this I just remembered. He makes flex seal in literally every form known to man. I can probably brush it on and have great control. Will have to check scent.

Most definitely. I think it'll work great personally. I really only see it being an issue for those who maybe take their tents up and down frequently. Maybe I'm gross, but I haven't moved mine since I set it up. I take care of it, keep it clean inside and out, but I can't say I've moved it or taken it down honestly.
