Best believe I am watching closely. And drooling profusely. Those would be TREES!!!

I'm definitely curious as well to see how they stretch, their flowering time, and more importantly, effect. Effect is going to play a major role in deciding if they ever end up being revisited and worked with in the future at any point. With what I'm working on in the shadows, I don't expect those future projects will appeal to most. I'm expecting longer flowering times, and more than likely not the bag appeal most people want these days with the heavily bred flavors of the month. I'm not chasing terps, nor flavor. I plan on offering old school, long lasting, psychedelic effects that may come at a cost of the aforementioned flowering time and 'today's' bag appeal. It's going to be awhile before those are even close to being mentioned and brought forward publicly. In the meantime, I enjoy seeing how these 'others' pan out during the down time. What I learn now can always be used later if they end up fitting into the equation. The BCK x Nepal Highland IBL a.k.a Spyralout really piques my interest too. I just need to figure out if I can squeeze in a couple of seeds during one of the future grows so I can take a peak and evaluate it.

That is pretty dam cool that leaf did that !!

I thought so too. It was really trying to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. It definitely has heart, I'll give it that.

The males that were pulled out of the flower room were placed outside so they could finish their cycle and be properly evaluated before I start killing clones. Yesterday, I was sitting with each of them and running through my evaluation check list taking notes on all of them. I came across one that I just needed to get a second opinion on. It had this very foul stem rub I couldn't put my finger on. I could only label it as other/ 'funk.' I went inside and grabbed my girlfriend who has absolutely minimal experience with weed. She doesn't really dabble with weed except for once in a blue moon.

I brought her outside, asked her to rub the stem, and tell me what she thought it smelled like. She made a pretty comical face. She said it smells like trash, and after another whiff, said poop. She said it was disgusting and "Please, don't ask me to smell that one again. It's gross" She went on and said my fingers are sticky now and how do I get rid of this smell. it's horrible.

I just smiled, laughed, and told her that was actually a good thing. I think she's hired. lol

I have to say, I was not expecting this from this particular cross. It was my Terpenado Mystery x God O War male #4. The ladies are on day 13. So it's going to be awhile to properly evaluate them, but it gives me something new to keep an eye on.

The ladies are scheduled for another round of evaluations and notes today. While watering yesterday, I'm pretty certain I found a foul, trashy, poop female. I summoned my GF in to confirm. Just like the male, all I said was "smell this one and tell me what you think." She had the same reaction and description of the male. Maybe I will get to see what this Trashy poop has to offer after all.

One of the Darshan's has a very mild stem rub. It was hard to discern as the smell seemed to dissipate pretty quick, but I'm leaning toward banana. I swear it smelled like over ripe bananas. However my GF couldn't confirm this. She didn't think so. She also couldn't put her finger on it either. She too thought it was very mild and too hard to tell. Out of curiosity @jaguarlax what are you getting from yours?

Darshan #11 seems to be heading in the offensive direction. It’s mild this far, but we’ve got 2 votes for baby poop and rotting garbage. image.jpg C8533965-1AE4-4F86-9FA7-B7B192AAA362.jpeg 40E40F1E-FC53-41B5-AAF5-4977AC29715D.jpeg

Damn, I was really hoping to see a female. He is showing some nice attributes. Thank you Jag for giving them a shot. @Texagonian has graciously also offered up some prime real estate to help me test these since I’m limited on space and won’t be able to get to these for awhile. I still need to get the package together for him. Fingers crossed he pulls some Spyralout girls

After @LittleDabbie commented this morning on the males, I decided to share a little more if anyone was interested in males.

This morning I found another male (Hyper Dragon x God O War) #1 beginning to express some color
IMG_5214.jpeg

Here's the taller Moon Dragon pheno #5. He has a substantial amount of vigor. He has excellent lateral growth and a very nice overall structure but his branching strength appears weaker and he's lanky. He has airy flower structure, and is ready to start dropping pollen. Neither of which are attributes I consider ideal. His stem rub is tropical fruit and he too appears to be expressing the onset of a little color. He wouldn't be considered as a donor. If I was going to work this line further and I wanted to proceed with a taller phenotype, I'd need to keep looking.

Day 14 - Moon Dragon #5 Early release of pollen

Moon Dragon #5 Slight expression of color

Moon Dragon #5 Open, airy flower structure

For comparison, here's the tighter clustered Moon Dragon #3 male (short pheno) - Still being considered

I had a lady friend stop by and help me check on Moon Dragon #3

I am extremely excited to do this! I am honored to assist with the search and hope I can do them justice.????

Darshan #11 is demonstrating some clawing today after feeding... my concentration is at 4 grams per gallon of Mega Crop... .5 grams per gallon of bud explosion and sweet candy respectively... I did add 2ML per gallon today of Advanced Nutrients Micro as I do once a week to combat deficiencies from my LED... I am not really sure if that was enough Nitrogen to have an effect like this... didn’t I see you talking about this a few weeks back? Or was it another cultivar?

Clawing is characteristic of BCK.

Here’s a side by side of my two Celestial Ghost females one topped twice, and one let grown naturally... This wonderful structure seems to hold true even in the two males I culled.

For reference, the untopped plant was 16 inches at flip.

Update: Day 29 - I just took a bunch of random shots of some of the girls. I haven't been afforded time to slow down, pull the girls out individually, and label the photos. So apologies for anyone interested in knowing who's who at this juncture. I hope to have some time this Thursday to do just that. In the interim, here's some random day 29 pics.

Pictured below; Clones from this personal run. (I took clones just because, but I never intended on keeping any so most will eventually go if not all of them). One of my new library additions Super Silver Haze (Shanti Cut) circa 1997 (Library Mother) blessed by a friend, and some new seeds being soaked for my upcoming 2021 projects.

Good morning frens... here’s a Darshan #11 Update... no intersex issues, and I’ve been looking since you binned that one. She’s putting off an aroma now that I can only describe as kush... that fruity funk that I love so dearly... she’s also clearly been producing a decent amount of trichrome coverage...

edit: just added these two trichrome shots, and just a note: the clawing that presented itself has mostly subsided but most likely due to an over abundance of nitrogen. After giving her a few days to catch up with herself, a bit of tip burn was apparent... it must of been the extra dose of AN micro that threw her off balance.
