On a side note, I've been getting a high number of aborts and I'm not sure why. Any ideas? I'm getting so many that I'm actually drying them and storing them in a mason jar. Couple grams of aborts should be a pretty good ride.

The aborts will send your on a ride haha. Aborts are usually from poor FAE or a lack of food or moisture in the sub I think. What’s your sub and how thick did you lay it?

@Idlewilder My FAE should be in check atm, I'm fanning 4 times a day and have holes with polyfill. I was thinking my stuff is drying out too fast between flushes. Weird thing is, I mixed these tubs up with the sub a lil too wet. I just switched to soaking my tubs in water for about 3 hours between flushes rather than heavy misting. Maybe I need to wait and see the difference.

Edit, I'm running twice the sub I usually run per tub. It's close to a 4" layer.

+1 on FAE, and Juice. I love aborts, those are my hiking snacks. Since I know your subs have the juice, I would say FAE or moisture related. Over misting/drying out I read will cause this also. I had noticed my cakes were collecting some water on top, I sprinkled a very thin layer of verm on top to help with the moisture retention/evap cycle.

Ya I think I'm the opposite. More moisture is in order. Hopefully soaking the cakes takes care of it. Too bad I had some really nice pinsets, to watch half of them abort lol.

I think I'll collect a good stash of them to break out for a special occasion..... Btw I see mycotek doing a qwiso type extraction on boomers and then vac purging with no heat for something like 20 days. He said .2 grams was intense visuals with a smooth come down.

I gave some thought to doing a longer soak on my tubs like you mentioned. Soaked three overnight a couple nights ago, they're pinning again so looks good. I was worried they would soak up too much moisture, they might have idk, they're pretty heavy lol. But they are pinning again, we'll see how it goes ?

I’ll be interested to hear how it works for you. You might not need to mist either, just fan
