the cost of quality factory leds can be staggering & building your own although getting easier can be intimidating I recently did a hack that started on another forum & I humbled myself & started asking around seems nothing over there can spark a pissing match faster than led light discussion except maybe nutrient discussions lol I finally got through it & covered it here in the diy forum so my build is covered there as I didn't save photos I'm starting a continuance of that build here & I know I'm not the originator of hacking led lights & some hacks are more simple for instance the guy I got my idea from hacked an anjeet chinese cob he used the chinese drivers & merrily peeled the chinese cobs off & put 36v. citizen cobs in their place as I cover my second run of my hack here I'm wanting to hear from anyone who has hacked or built led lighting on a budget , how you did it as well as pics & part sources I used a vipar spectra in my hack I have factory leds as well so let's see those budget builds the purpose here is to share info( not limited to hacking) with anyone interested in led lighting at the most reasonable price
