"Keep in mind that these measurements do not factor in reflective walls that will increase your PAR ratings by 20-35%"

I call BS

They put up like 20 diff charts,,, none show this unsupported claim manifest.

According to their own mesurements, light intensity fell 40% by moving the bulb from 24" to 18 inches. ( 1377 : 824 )

How is oblique light going to travel the first two feet, bounce off the wall, travel an additional 2 feet, and magically hit the target with 30% increased intensity ?

Just not buying it.

Law of inverse square dictates that light will arrive with 25% of original intensity if the distance is doubled.

Dunno,,,,I make stuff up.

Light drives photosynthesis.
If a hang a 100 dollar roll of name brand foil, will all my two ounce plants become three ouncers?

Not trying to be contrary. I just dont see that money ever coming back.

Apply some anti mold primer, you Can apply on just about everything (If it was me I would def recommend read the label), just not walkways . Can prevent and be as a fungicide for multiple years , best stuff I used and it’s not pricy.

reason why you get “grow “ or greenhouse plastic vs stuff you buy at a hardware or normal retail is this plastic doesn’t retain moisture, greenhouse is clear and “grow rooms“ are reflective and do same as greenhouse where it won’t absorb the moisture .

i recommend using panda film even if applying a anti mold primer on your wood/drywall’s cause it def will shield and protect such. a tip is if your floor is bare, cut the first 6 inches-2ft from wall to floor so you can have fresh air onto that and since that’s the spot most susceptible to such issues. I also didn’t use staples as my brace for the panda film, just use a strong tape like gorilla tape and your set, my last panda film from the flower room is over 5 years and going strong with just tape and never had to retape it

I use this stuff from the depot...it helps considerablly keep a room cooler in the summer...warmer in the winter and use less energy than painted walls...I tape the seams with aluminum tape I get from the duct work guys at work...great reflective value and energy conservation.

My CMH 315 and LED lighting makes that stuff brittle and it just starts ripping and tearing...I was looking at new holes everyday and was like how the hell did I tear that...then I discovered how brittle and weak it had become...
wow ! never would have thught of that - thak for in info - strong heat can make things brittle - good info

Ok....FLAT WHITE for the win!
With that being said...BH..covered putting up mylar/ panda/ reflective wall covering pretty well.
I use the metal duct tape on my mylar and set it 8-10" off the floor because I grow in 5-10 gallon buckets and they do not need the light...plus for mold remediation effects as that is where it most likely will start...
I notice no difference between mylar or flat white paint other then it sucks snapping pics in the room with mylar.
