Question 4" vs 6" fan for a 2x4x7 tent ?

I am in the process of gathering equipment bit by bit, due to economical situation to start a proper small scale grow asap. Got the tent, perhaps later another for moms and vegging, got the light for the 2x4 (well at least decided which one), but am not sure about which size fan to get for a 2x4 tent.

Elsewhere people either think 4" AC Infinity is more than adequate, others swear on the bigger 6" one having regrets on getting 4" one..

... I´m not planning on upgrading my tents sizewise, but I am really looking for the quietest one WITH excellent odor control properties. Research led to AC Infinity. I am not going to have long ducting, nor is the light super hot either. Price is not an issue..

Specs for both models:

T6: Duct Size: 6” | Dimensions: 7.9 x 12.6 x 8.4 in. | Airflow: 402 CFM | Noise: 32 dBA | Bearings: Dual Ball

T4: Duct Size: 4” | Dimensions: 6.9 x 11.9 x 7.4 in. | Airflow: 205 CFM | Noise: 28 dBA | Bearings: Dual Ball

Both come with speed controller..

the 4" fan should be good, but I´m still not sure...

Any and all feedback welcome and I thank you in advance..

I prefer to go bigger, it's easier to dial down the fan then it is wishing you didn't go with the minimal CFM. If you are using a canister for odors a larger fan allows you to dial in this too as those little 4" canisters aren't nearly as effecient as the larger models holding more carbon. You don't want to exceed the recommendation for CFM with a canister and with the 4" you could be turning it down to match the CFM requirements which will just slow cooling down becoming ineffective & no longer efecient in the long run when you really need that air exchange.

4" is much louder than a 6" , even on low settings if that would matter.

Id rather have a stronger fan that i can run lower if needed rather than a fan that may not be enough. I ran a 6 inch in my 2x4.

Thanks guys. This pretty much seals it for me.
Exactly what everyone above said. ☝️
It's quite the same across the board for noise vs air movement. A 4" I had on high made more noise for the same amount of air as a 6" I had on low. As you likely guessed I got rid of the 4" one. Lol.
Same also goes for my current fans. My 8" on low moves as much air as my 6" on high, and is quieter too.
Imho with fans I always go bigger than I expect to need, and then run on lower speeds. Fan has less load so it runs quieter, will likely last longer with less load, and I always have the option to push/pull more air if needed.
