Can I shoot a fucking drone down? I've seen a drone flying over my property 3 times in as many weeks. Dont think its doing anything other than flying over but I dont like it. You can hear it buzzing when it's overhead. Seems to be landing somewhere in an adjacent neighborhood. Fuckers

00 buck should bring the fucker down , If You are living where You can discharge a firearm then why not if its over Your property. Fuck em . I would blast any drone I see in my airspace out of the sky , but I can shoot where I live.

Wish I could light it up. Need to find someone more tech savy than me to jam its signal amd bring it down. Has to be away to interfere with it.
Read a thing awhile back, same kinda dilemma, that a guy put a few weights on a fishing line with pole and cast at it.
Tangled that sucker up and he reeled it in. Lmfao
Have to be a low flyer though. Lol

I'd think something a little smaller than 00 buck. If you go with smaller shot, you'll get more pellets, which should increase probability of hitting it. Any normal bird load should work.

But yea blast that fucker out of the sky

Just looked it up. That drone is more protected than fucking sea turtles. There are 10 or so laws on the books that make it illegal to interfere in any way with that thing. I should get one and follow it home and just hover. Set the GPS and send it there to just hang out daily.

Buy your own cheap drones for crash and derby.

I have a DIY "DroneJammer" project file somewhere on a disk. If I can locate it, I'll let ya know.
I didn't yet attempt the build, but read a couple reviews that it worked well.
Not sure if it is Fc c compliant ;) so it would be a use at your own discretion type thing. :D

What could it do? Make it go haywire, crash n burn type thing?

Most commercially available drones run on a frequency of 2.4GHz and or 5.8 GHz . The same as home wireless networks 2.4GHz.
Some higher cost models may use a sub-tone as well. This design is to reduce interference from highly populated areas with a lot of wifi signals.
Most operate LOS (line-of-site).

A jamming device would be a signal generator ( Voltage controlled oscillator, Power amplifier, saw tooth signal and noise generator, and a dc power supply to run it)

When the jammer is stronger than the operators controller or at closer LOS range, it interferes with the signal. Blocking or disabling the operators control.

This causes the drone to either return to its operator, or immediately land.

Because wifi is on this freq range. (2.433-2.5M MHz) It is not exactly legal in the US.
Lots of info available on how to and whats needed with a duckduckgo search though ;)

Ok I was imagining a mass kamikaze in heavy traffic areas lol. Duckduckgo FTW ?
