Hey all , new hear at the phenohunter
I'm justblazin from the great white north
I'm a decent grower not great but not bad
I've gown for about 13 years.
Now and for the last few years I've grown in promix amended with Gaia green dry amendments and a couple other goodies.
I grow in a 5x5 tent with 2x600hps for flower

I have about 5 keepers that I've had for the last few years and I'm always looking for new keepers that are better than my current ones. So for the last 2 years I've done a big pheno hunt of a whole bunch of plants between a few strains.
Last year I found 1 wedding cake x doho and 1 cherry garseeya out of the about 30 plants I ran that were on par with my keepers.
This year's phenohunt was
Regular seeds
Lemon hoko- Blueberry bx3 4 female
Mosca- Old time Indiana bubblegum 1 female
Dark horse- gamma berry 2 female

Femenized seeds
All esos gear
6- twinkle tarts
6- black grape dimsum
5- dynoberry bites

Cracked them over a month ago and kept them all crammed under a couple t5s until about a week and a half ago I repotted them into 2 gallon pots and put them under my 2x600hps and switched to 12/12. So they were a little rough to start in the flower tent but they are starting to come out of there funk. I topped them and took clones a few nights ago.
Here's a pic of them a few nights ago after I topped them.

Things are looking good so far, they are really starting to take off after a long couple weeks of them trying to get used to their new pots and lighting.
They are still stretching but buds are starting to form and some are starting to get some frost.

It's getting pretty full in there going to have to do some defoliation in a few days to give some more room.
These were taken 2 days ago, they have grown a fair bit since then

This pic is off the biggest plant in the tent, it's got some leaf margin rolling going on near the top of the plant, not sure I'd it's just genetic or from heat or light stress.

Also starting to see some roots from some of the clones I took last week.

Little update, sorry no pics, hopefully I remember to grab come pics tonight, it's getting kind of hard as it's so packed in the tent.

They are 21 days from flip I figure and the stretch is pretty much done I'm assuming most of the buds are starting to get frost, some more than others. Most of The twinkle tarts already have some nice frost on the fan leaves coming from the buds. Also one of the Blueberry has been pretty frosty for a week already.

I'm definitely glad I asked which of esos gear stretched the most as I had the black grape dumdums in the back row with the twinkle tarts in front of them, @thenotsoesoteric told me the tarts stretched the most a couple weeks ago so I switched the tarts to the back row. Sure glad I did almost all the tarts are bigger than everything else with a couple towering over the BGDDs.
The Old time Indiana bubblegum seems to be a fair bit behind everything else, just starting to flower. They all look healthy but its very packed and alot of leaves are touching creating wet spots on the leaves so I'm going to take a bunch of leaves off.

Most of the clones rooted in like a week except 4 BGDD , 1 TT and the only OTIBG still haven't shot out any roots but its only been around a week and a half. I'm guessing the BGDD are tough to root as 4 haven't rooted.

Got myself a 650w led to replace my 2 600 hps, going to install it after this round. Also have a pulse pro coming so I can check the light levels and monitor my grow a little better. Didn't like finding out pretty much at the end of my last run that my humidity spiked up to 70-80% at lights out.
I'm interested to see what the difference is on the monitor between the hps and the led. I was going to get another 100 w strip to up my wattage and extend the foot print in my tent as I think a 650w is best for a 4x4 and I'm in a 5x5.

Hopefully I can get some decent pics tonight or tomorrow and update

The mom black dog i used for black grapes dumdum was incredibly slow to root. Though the bgd i have going right now is much quicker to root.

Those bgd that are slower growing and to root will hopefully have more of the raspberry terps from momma too.

I’ve got 750 at the wall with leds and rock it pretty good in a 5x5 I would just give it a try first you might be happy with the results from 650watts

Thanks for the reply.
Ya I might do a run with it to see how the light spread and yield are.
What kind of yields you getting off your 750?
And what kind of grower are you?
I do promix amended with Gaia green dry amendments and straight water

The black dog mom could take 3-4 weeks to root and vegged like molasses but the smoke was worth it.
Thanks for the info,
ya they are definitely alot smaller than the TT, glad you told me the TT get alot bigger or the BGDD would have next to no direct light. Thanks again.
I'm not going to clean up all the bottoms on the ones I didn't get rooted yet just in case I need to snip another or try and reveg if I really like it

I get anywhere from 2 to 4 oz’s off each plant and I usually do 11 plants in 4 gallon pots with roots organic soil and than I use the whole fox farm soil line up

And that’s 750 watts on a 4.5 x 4.5 foot frame so it fits in a 5x5 perfectly and gives perfect spread 4731632A-9929-40BC-9104-D4E9F61D4041.jpeg 2B2C38F9-087E-403B-A262-92FC2133CD53.jpeg

That looks awesome!!! Fits in there beautifully
That's a nice yield, hopefully I can pull in something similar when I get it all dialed in.

Mines only going to be 42 x 42 so that's 9 inches on all sides, I think i might need a light bar for at least one end

Ok got in the tent tonight and tried to get some pics. Also took a bunch of fan leaves off,was getting some nice smells of a bunch of them.
Took the pics before defoliation.
