My version of a hash washing machine. Lol.
Works wonderfully for me, quick, easy, and seems to get just about every bit out of it.

Materials needed most of us likely have laying around. ???
Couple buckets with lids, some hose, a decent gpm pump, and your choice of bubble bags.

Cut some holes, modified version cuts out the whole lid, and bottom of buckets, leaving just the rim for them to stack. Leave a hole for the pump cord and hose in the bottom lid. 20200517_144807.jpg
Make a few more holes in lids and buckets. 20200517_144837.jpg
Enough for however many bags you want to use. I use a drill with a mixing paddle to beat the weed and ice in a separate bucket, and then pour in the top buckets bag. Bottom bucket with pump has ice added as well.

Run the pump to keep washing the weed to get it all mang. Get all that good shit. ???
Turn with a spatula, I like the silicone ones.

A pie sheet is my choice to plane it out for drying, hash slides off pretty easy.

Body fill plastic scrapers also pretty slick, and non scratching.
Few different grades, right to left. 120, 73, and a tiny bit of 25 on the left. 20200517_172801.jpg
Dried out nice and blond, very tasty, and full of flavor. Had a lemony tootsie roll type flavor.
Hash makings from my Jenny Chemdog plant.

It's about time to make another good batch, lots of donor material to get rid of, and clear out the old stash.

This is awesome man, something got inside of me when Frenchy passed away and I've had an unbelievable fire in me to learn the oldschool hashmaking ways, and specifically water hash, this is more than likely going to get built really soon ????
Heck ya man, do it to it. I love a nice hash ball in the bubbler bong, so tasty. Mmm Mmm
I'm still using the first version I made, it hangs out in the mechanical room when not in use.
Speaking of which its about time to dig it out, and do a run. Lol.

Hey man....i love it but the best home made hash washer is an oar.....a 20 gallon trash can with a hose spigot..

Tunes blazing with the doobage....Kumbaya my lord...fill those bags.

But yours is way fancier. And it would work as good as that hash washer i have.

Hmmm, I may have to upsize my routine machine. I'll still use the drill mixer paddle, love my power tools, and it's kinda fun making the water tornadoes. Lmfao.
That spigot idea, hmmmm, how do you keep it from clogging up with material from the plant?

You answered the question wonderfully. I can picture it how you made it just knowing the material you used.
What're you and those boomers picturing atm?

Just wondering... Has anyone tried stacking 7 gallon buckets instead of 5 gallons?

Ive been looking around to improve some little things, and i found that some of these 7 gallon buckets have the same top dimensions... I am thinking that extra few inches could come in handy... Thoughts?

It just may, for sure it would in the bottom reservoir. Hold more ice in there.
Getting too tall would be my only concern, that extra bit of free space would be nice though.

20 or 30 gallon 220micron prebag in the bucket....with a metal sieve holding it down creating a chamber in the garbage can for the trichs to settle down in..

Drill 1 inch holes in my oar for better stirring.

Garden hose with a spigot...then pour through the only 4 bags i need.

My wine buckets are 6 gal the extra space is wonderful, I pack it with ice to keep stuff cold. Also I cut the buckets so just the rim remains to hold the bags.

@JL2G - imo low and slow, no agitation, I use a plastic spoon.

I do a low speed beater paddle in the drill gun, pretty non violent to it at all. It's made of 1/4" wire and looks like a single egg beater.
Let it slow spin, when the material and water catch up the the gun I stop til it stops, then do it again a few more times like that and pour.
Then finish rinsing it and turning with the silicone spatula for a bit. If doing multiple batches I'll rinse off the ice and throw it back in a bucket to use again.
