2021 Summer, Outside, Backyard, Under the Stars...

Jim Dandy

In Bloom
Working on the grow reports.
I got the Afghan Mix from The Real Seed Co. because the seeds were from:
Balkh
Badakshan
Mazar-i-Sharif
Kunduz
One of my favorite Indicas of all time is the Lapis Mountain Indica from Cannacopia. Cannicopia claimed the mother in the cross came from a village near the largest Lapis Lazuli deposit in Afghanistan. According to wikipedia the Sar-e-Sang Mines are the largest mines. The Sar-e-Sang mines are located in the Badakshan Province. Hence my interest in the seeds.
Three of the plants from the "Afghan Mix" shared characteristics with Lapis Mountain Indica.

In Bloom
Afghan Mix plant# 2 [The Real Seed Co]
This plant had the largest, fattest leaves of the "Afghan Mix" seedlings I germinated.
When finished budding smelled very similar to Lapis Mountain Indica from Cannicopia.
The coloring was also very similar to Lapis Mountain Indica.
Also the effects are very similar to Lapis Mountain Indica.

Effects:
Euphoric, Spacey, Dreamy.
Introspective with fragmented chains of thought- keeps pulling me into the moment and out of my head. "Let it be" type of effect.
Colors Brighter
A little stronger than the Tashkurgan.
Relaxing, Good for pain.
Would be good for: Yoga, Concerts, Listening to music, crafts.
Has a flow- good pattern recognition.
Some short term memory loss- not to bad.
would be good for Making Love.

The Buds -especially the top colas- looked very similar to what I would expect the mother of Lapis Mountain Indica to look.
Passed field test.
