3rd times a charm!

To be clear, the topanga bananas did not hermie on me, it was an awesome plant. I had a different plant that pollinated the tb plant, and that is where these seeds came from. Side note... I have a question for all of you experts. If cannabis is pre wired to pollinate itself under less than ideal conditions as a survival instinct, wouldn’t that mean that every plant has the gene to hermie?

on your waters above 400ppm, if it was me

i would buy a whole house filter + whole house uvc and if you want pure/00ppm for garden a r/o, if your on tap water it needs to be uv bulged as well for the sake of how pathogen prone non city water is ( hints why city water they put chemicals in it)

any person just trying to uvc only is only asking for the trace elements and metals and so forth and sediments to destroy it.

best combo for filter and uvc for tap is presentment filter (you can even quick clean it by pulling a knob and pressure clean it, suggested to clean it every 1-2 weeks by cold water and removing the iron/metals and sediment) than “ whole house filter” = Sedimemt + AES + KDF filter. Most modern “house filters”. can be rated for 50k-100k gallons and sediment is the cheapest filter but also the saver to the rest of the system so you want to replace that one 2x as often 25k-50k ( for my high iron 300-350 ppm)

this is a game changer for your whole plumbing and also anything that uses your tap water, including outdoors gardening and indoors, reason ‘ removes bad pathogens to 99.9%, bad tasting water , pesticides and voc , trace elements + many more. if you don’t dechornize For example out of the hose for your garden both indoors and outdoors it’s killing that beneficial and good fungus and eco system.

now if want water to be down to 000ppm but it’s removing the key bad things to make a useable and clean water vs bad pathogens and Inless lab grade cleaning and all salt and non organics
would work. Organic nutes and bad pathogens - a feeding feast for them and key is cleaning w/e you use as storage for water and if organics you can’t let a huge population of bad pathogens start there and then ask or blame the nutes when you have em a huge % of bad and love feeding on such.

great example of a 3 stage whole house is ( this is the model my own for my house )

pre-sediment filter:

the next step if you want 00 ppm is use r/o for your gardens and than you can program your micro nutes and what’s in it via what your applying vs a gamble of too much or misc issues to be blind towards , if you add your ferts on r/o you know exactly your math vs knowing exactly it can’t be such and no guratee every time

so many brands of r/o are crap and bad support as filter quality is crap , that’s a huge part of the efficiency is the grade of the filters and membrane . I support this brand
Growonix , reason = usa built and their filters are hand made in the USA and very durable structure . It’s def made for a grower and ive owned their r/o for almost 3 years and it works great. I had worst first rounds cause I thought I could avoid even having a whole house but all my iron and contaminates and everything it does remove just saves the average 500-2000 gal r/o filters vs a whole house ( normally 25k-100k+ per filter replacement ) + bigger uv tha a r/o uv .

Growonix wholesaler for filter and system:

uvc whole house :

I have a r/o uvc but since the whole house vs r/o was even cheaper to replace the bulb and can do 12 gallons per minute. I’m set for my whole house and indoor/outdoor garden 99.9% germ/bad pathogen killed before it goes down the main plumbing .

Thanks for this info, I’ve been looking into some sort of filter, this will help me narrow it down. Lol it’s crazy that I’m more worried my plants are drinking crappy water than poisoning myself drinking it.

Water and air are if not the most important things people become blind to as not a Priority bs so many things like they will make #1 on nutes vs good water and air. People and everything requires and is based on such

my water taste so good now from using this system ive gotten a few comments from a few people saying “ man your water taste great”

it’s sad there is not regulation standard on bottled water and so many times it’s nasty contaminated water in a absorbable plastic .

I would think most plants can do this under the right conditions. But nanners throwing late is dif than a Herm .

So I planned on only keeping 4 plants in my 3x3 tent...why is it so hard to get rid of the other 5???? I flipped yesterday, what would be the max number of plants I could flower in here? I have 4 “keepers” in 1 gal fabric pots, and the other 5 in 1 gal plastic nursery pots. 05562497-4105-4865-BF05-950AFF3DAC0F.jpeg

Holy stretch, a few are stretching and stacking, the others just seem to be stretching. All are showing hairs, no balls yet! Fingers crossed,? I’m going to have to thin a few of these at some point. Today is 13 days pf, I’m running out of height in my tent, I might even have to tie them down? Or get a taller tent?? the little guy in the front is a mass medical platinum swabi punch. It isn’t currently in flower. I just threw it in there for a picture. 45B29249-7397-4EFE-9E7D-996B4E2BB013.jpeg

I always have a hard time getting rid of pheno’s. You raised em till death, you loved em through their whole life. So you decide omly be fist of bag appeal or potency or uniqueness . If not, kill ? Glad I’m not a kid and pheno chosen that way cause majority would be killed. I only keep like 1-5% if grown through cycle. Poor girls or dudes. Only the finest ;)

And then there were 5... took 4 out after they showed me there balls. So decision made easy. I went to the bait shop and picked up some red wiggles. What could I feed them that won’t affect the plant or ph? 1E0387FA-BC42-4C2B-BBA6-E5ECC9AC2735.jpeg

give Em some worm chow:

if you have the worms in the pots, fruit based stuff or stuff that takes along time to go to their stage of eating, since they don’t have teeth and rely on bennies/other things to break it down to worm food. using things that don’t break down and promote fungis gnats and fruit flies is not fun for a indoor grow. I can battle em in my worm bin but if doing it in same container I would do modified worm chow or worm chow fully vs food scraps cause it won’t promote the flies and gnats nowhere near as much.

in my super soil pots/beds outdoors the worms will even be chowing down on my rock hill + double landscape fabric and those air pots still get tons of worms eating away, just as much as my inground 100 gal’s

Side note:If your siper soiling snd using organics ferts . I think some azomite and eggshell and alfalfa ,to save cash you can even buy organic AffAlfa that’s just not shreeded down, I can get 50lb’s for under 20 bucks at the tractor supply/similar places and I just pre-grind it in a food mixer

to sterilize the eggshells , you can use a oven but you also can microwave the eggs as well and then grind it up ( I would suggest a respirator cause it’s not good to breath in a lot of these organics and eggshells produce a bunch of dust when grinded )

Damn, the sad thing is I knew I was spinning my wheels messing with seeds that came from a herm pollination. Every one of them has now shown balls. This last plant only had 2 on lower branch. I’m sure this bud will have seeds now. They look decent, 32 days post flip. I cut off the lower branches that showed balls. I don’t like the structure of this plant... it’s spaced out nodes are weird. 979B21E6-4D80-428A-AC4F-504E50D82112.jpeg C4521A25-59CF-4C64-A277-AC5D99939C27.png

Looks like some good smoke

well I’m a little discouraged, my soil in my pots turned super acidic on me sometime in the last few weeks, I keep trying to flush them and I’m getting 7.0 on my run off, but the ph of the soil stays in the low 4s.... pretty sure everything is locked out. Some bad fading going on, I’m on day 47 now, worried about making it to finish. I would take any and all suggestions. 86D21CA1-1015-401D-B268-63AC2BC149E5.jpeg
