3rd times a charm!

I need a veg tent bad. I’m just afraid to push the luck with the boss! Lmao. I’m currently slow vegging( I call it that because they are just under 2 2ft t5s). In veg I currently have
1 hazeman fat purple tester
2 Death Star( I only found 2 seeds in entire plant?)
2 hazeman sour grapes x gg4
1 freak genetics blackberry bread clone
1 unknown

I found this plant growing in my compost pile. I dug it up and potted it in a 3 gallon about 2 weeks ago. It had some massive leaves on it but I sprayed it with a neem oil spray that burned the shit out if it. I’ve since defoliate the burned leaves.... check out the branch structure, I topped it one time. It doesn’t have a typical trunk, the side branches just start at the bottom. I think it came from a hazeman stardawg tester that was knocked up a few grows back. Gonna watch her close. 1F932761-0AF0-4B0E-9475-84818B9ACC02.jpeg

Two of these ODNO T8 bulbs will make more light than four 1 1/4" T12 bulbs in the aforementioned shop lights.

How does it work?
Instead of hooking up multiple bulbs to the one ballast we can hook up just one bulb with all of the outputs together. "

With the higher output, the bulbs can be further away.
More plants , getting more light, in the existing space.
Could be a sly way to stealthily up your game.

More than ten years ago, I wired a 'two-bulb' ballast into a single lamp fixture, in our upstairs bathroom. She is still going strong.

so I’m going to switch it up one more time. I have 2 grows under my belt. First was dwc using technaflora nutrients, second was promix with biobizz nutes. This go around I’m trying my hand at a true organic living soil, with only ph and temp correct water. 6 plants on the left are Death Star(don’t know genetics) 4 on the right are accidentally pollinated topanga bananas by briscos bargain beans. Pollinated by a pipedream x the animal that threw balls.
if your doing organics in soil/soilless , it’s not helping you in anyway to ph your water . However so many people don’t look at water quality , if above 100ppm you need a three stage filter or a r/o and than if r/o u will need to add all the micros u removed that ur plants desire .

I used to do ph adjustments in soil when doing organics it truly is a unneeded thing and does more harm than good

Thanks bh. I am still tinkering with my process, still learning. I really appreciate your experience in this topic. I am currently using straight ffof , i start feeding biobizz at start of flower. I have not been ph checking my water, however I know my municipal water is garbage. I just set it in the sun for 24 hours . My results are coming out ok, but I don’t like the idea of buying organic nutrients.Since I am so new at this I have really been focused on watching the plants reaction to how I’m taking care of it. I feel like I’m starting to understand the wants and needs of the plants. I’ve been keeping chickens, turkeys and quail the last few months. I am wanting to make some jadam liquid ferts with the poo, and the water soluable calcium with the egg shells. I’ve also been throwing away my non keeper males in a bucket With water and leaf mold soil and sea salt. I havnt tried it out yet but will soon. I do know that bucket absolutely reeks!!!lol... I feel like I’ll be picking your brain more bh!

Thanks for the input jewels.... i have the means to get a great light for veg and tent. Would you suggest this setup over something else? Or is this a great budget friendly option? What I was referring to was that I don’t really want to ask the wife to buy anything else, so I don’t have to hear the comments that follow. Lmao. I have a birthday coming up in a few months, so I’ll probably just tell her that’s what I want, then I won’t feel guilty. What is a great led or cob unit for veg? I don’t have a ton of room so I would probably be 3x3 max.... probably 2x2. The perfect size for my area would be 3 wide by 2ft deep if I could find a tent that size.
