4 x 4 tent thread ...what are you running ???

Hey just throwing this out there. But if you're running any medium that is hand watered in tents like 4*4 or bigger. I've found this transfer pump that has made my life so easy, and so far its actually durable as in its lasting a while with normal care. It's called the Tera pump 03. Dc powered, so plug into the wall, long ass hose and a gas pump style handle. Even comes with a nice shower head attachment and pre filter thing.
Amazon product
That's an Amazon link obviously, but over the net can be found for cheaper maybe. There are a few different models also, depending on your needs, but 4*4 or bigger, the 03 is the one to get. Anyway, just has made my watering so much easier since I started using them a couple years ago. I always take for granted, and forget that not everyone has stumbled upon them. Going to add this to ttlhe grow hack or tips area as well. But I personally run a 4*4 the most of my areas. So, just thought I'd toss that out there for all you hand watering homies.

How do you like the qb 96 I've been considering a build using 4 of them & a pair of hlg 320 h 54 b drivers for the 4x4 tent right now I'm running luminus (6) cobs & a pair of hlg 240 h 54 b drivers
I am thinking about setting up a 4x4 tent with 4 qb 96's as well. Six would be better, but I need 2 for a veg area, so 4 will have to do. I am using the 320h-54a drivers, which max out around 350 watts each.

The heatsinks get pretty hot when the boards are running at 175 watts each, but if you need to run them that high and that becomes a concern, a pc fan on each heatsink will solve the problem.

I plan on hacking a vipar spectra & using their heatsinks & cooling fans just like the light I'm currently running @480w the heatsinks have aluminum fine & 4 fans I would run a hlg 320 54 A if it was cheaper than the b series as I'm not running a dimmer anyway

While browsing ebay today I found a q/b knockoff 480w & 4 samsung boards for $231 the most difficult thing about a 4x4 is lighting it they may not be top bin boards & have alistar red diodes instead of osram & the drivers might not be genuine meanwell but keep in mind new meanwell drivers are made in china this light , fans & tent combined could be done for about $ 380 -$400 total I couldn't build my light using amazon & ebay components for that I wasn't able to get my tablet to post pics or links but I've never seen it so cheap to set up a 4x4 I regret that this wasn't available at the time I set mine up I would of been all over it

The vipar spectra light I hacked it was 520w of chinese blurple I used the housing , heatsinks & fans then added 6 luminus 50v cobs & a pair of meanwell hlg 240h54b drivers it was originally intended for one of my 3x3 tents but after getting it together decided to try it in a 4x4 this is my 3rd run in this setup I'm learning something every round this one grew too tall from seed next round will be from clones & kept shorter as my light is on the ceiling with plants trying to grow into it forcing me to do an extreme round of supercropping & they've only began to flower 20210919_171738.jpg

Man I love my 4x4. probably just as much as the 4x8 if not, more. I've always run HID in mine, but I think im about to upgrade to another kingbrite 480w board in there. I think it will do well in there. I do like having air cooled hoods though. OH well I think i will get over it.

I grew with hps for a long time in a 3x4 room tried 400 , 600 & even a 1000w the 400-600 switchable ballast my favorite still have a 1000 w & magnum xxx hood up in the rafters the kingbrite is a lot of bang for the buck

This gals OLD, and currently decently locked out. She’s mainlined and been transplanted 3 times, and flushed and reset twice, I refuse to flush again haha! this is beginning of week 5 I believe. She’s in week 6 right now. Was going to chop he down at week 3 and start again but I’m giving her the respect of letting her finish. 4x4, 400 watts, coco, dry amendments, green crack.
