Hey just throwing this out there. But if you're running any medium that is hand watered in tents like 4*4 or bigger. I've found this transfer pump that has made my life so easy, and so far its actually durable as in its lasting a while with normal care. It's called the Tera pump 03. Dc powered, so plug into the wall, long ass hose and a gas pump style handle. Even comes with a nice shower head attachment and pre filter thing.
Amazon product
That's an Amazon link obviously, but over the net can be found for cheaper maybe. There are a few different models also, depending on your needs, but 4*4 or bigger, the 03 is the one to get. Anyway, just has made my watering so much easier since I started using them a couple years ago. I always take for granted, and forget that not everyone has stumbled upon them. Going to add this to ttlhe grow hack or tips area as well. But I personally run a 4*4 the most of my areas. So, just thought I'd toss that out there for all you hand watering homies.
How do you like the qb 96 I've been considering a build using 4 of them & a pair of hlg 320 h 54 b drivers for the 4x4 tent right now I'm running luminus (6) cobs & a pair of hlg 240 h 54 b drivers2 qb132s 500w in one.
A qb96 hanging of the side. 200w
TerpyTy fixture 2700k 390watts
It's in a 4x4. I will add the qb96 eventually. View attachment 82180
I am thinking about setting up a 4x4 tent with 4 qb 96's as well. Six would be better, but I need 2 for a veg area, so 4 will have to do. I am using the 320h-54a drivers, which max out around 350 watts each. How do you like the qb 96 I've been considering a build using 4 of them & a pair of hlg 320 h 54 b drivers for the 4x4 tent right now I'm running luminus (6) cobs & a pair of hlg 240 h 54 b drivers
I plan on hacking a vipar spectra & using their heatsinks & cooling fans just like the light I'm currently running @480w the heatsinks have aluminum fine & 4 fans I would run a hlg 320 54 A if it was cheaper than the b series as I'm not running a dimmer anywayI am thinking about setting up a 4x4 tent with 4 qb 96's as well. The heatsinks get pretty hot when the boards are running at 175 watts each, but if you need to run them that high and that becomes a concern, a pc fan on each heatsink will solve the problem.
I grew with hps for a long time in a 3x4 room tried 400 , 600 & even a 1000w the 400-600 switchable ballast my favorite still have a 1000 w & magnum xxx hood up in the rafters the kingbrite is a lot of bang for the buckMan I love my 4x4. probably just as much as the 4x8 if not, more. I've always run HID in mine, but I think im about to upgrade to another kingbrite 480w board in there. I think it will do well in there. I do like having air cooled hoods though. OH well I think i will get over it.
That should work good I'm contemplating another build using the qb 96 from hlgGot a 350 r coming. So I will have that and a timber 3vsl in the 4x4 now ?I hope it bangs
