7th Day Seeds
Hey, @Rosinallday - what's the "cover method?"
I get my seeds into their dixie cups, make sure the medium is at a good moisture. seed is about 1/4 inch covered Then simply cover(black out) the cups with a tray bottom so that it's dark under. You don't even have to point the seeds facing down, gravity will take care of that, just laying them on their side is fine. Just leave them for about 3-4 days and you will see them start to pop up. Then uncover and put some light on them. Amazing, they do all that without any light and actually prefer that. I do a lot of micro-greens and that's where I learned that. I have a pic somewhere, maybe @MostHigh still has the recent one he took.

brace yourselves for my indoor scene. bringing up the rear is 7th day seeds. I'm just really wanting to see what terps the male bring so I picked 2 Dakine(left) and 2 Grapesmac(right) with purple stems like the googly male. at night i black them out with big cardboard so plenty of light leaks.

I'm really loving the look of these grapesmac females. nice vigor on that one on the right, love it when they pray hard like that.

Peeps ain’t gotta spend thousands of dollars on the newest greatest gadget tent nutrients additives. My first indoor grow was 400 metal halide temp lites I stole off my job site. They were beat to hell and my setup was janky as fuck and I ran big bud from BC bud depot. But I pulled a couple pounds of 8 girls out of a 20 pack and I was hooked 4 life!!! Just make small improvements when and how u can. Salvage and repurpose where possible. Don’t take much to keep a few plants going indoors. With all the good karma u be stacking I’m sure it will happen for ya bro. Good luck and Blessingz on your new venture.

those look beautiful brother. I hope the smoke report is good. That's the most important. I love the purple and they have the kind of look I like.
First to the finish line, I'm super grateful for the testing.

This is something I'm very interested in..You have a link as to where you get the ..beans...shoots...seeds...I'm not huge into veggies but I absolutely love bean sprouts.. alfalfa sprouts and such..would really like to try a bigger variety of shoots and sprouts...Weird the local store hasn't carried any type of sprout for quite awhile...not even the sub par canned ones...This seems right up my alley here?

Man, were having the same issue. The stores near me almost never have sprouts, and when they do theyre on the verge of turning bad the day you buy them. I was growing my own too until thrips got into everything and I cleaned house. Was scared theyd make their way upstairs to my houseplants if I didnt.

It's been a good thing for me, started about 4 years ago. The nutritional value is off the charts with the micros. So easy to grow and amazing return for the effort.
The seeds I get from True Leaf Market Seed Company | Buy Non-GMO, Heirloom, Organic Seeds

The trays are really important because you have to do bottom watering with micro greens to avoid surface mold. You have to use mesh trays and then solid bottom trays. The roots grow through the mesh trays and then you lift them and bottom water.

I just planted a round but next time I'll document a seed to harvest, maybe start a thread because I think this is something that would benefit everyone. Those wheat grass shots are pretty amazing. Mostly I was just making them for the land owner, but now I'm starting to drink some every time I make them. It reminds me of some plant alkaloid medicines that I've had. I'm pretty sure that it's an alkaline extract and if I have anything too acidic, sugary or oily in my stomach it makes me feel kinda weird at first but then I feel better after a while. I have some gut issues, it's the #1 reason I smoke, bc of nausea and I get heartburn real easily so I have to watch my diet pretty carefully. Wheat grass shots are super good for a lot of things but seems to help my stomach issues so I can attest to that.

Yes sir...please do a full document..I think many could and would benefit from it..My stomach issues on top of asthma make me extremely uncomfortable alot of the time..Believe it or not when the stomach is acting up it seems to trigger asthma attacks..I didn't think ide ever change my almost 100% ways of a carnivore! Went most of my life on nothing but meat for the most part..Without thought my body a couple years ago forced me to completely avoid beef..Pork wasn't bothering me and I started buying whole lambs to replace beef...Long story shortened..I'm mainly only ok with Turkey chicken and duck as of now...And have been eating more rice..beans and veggies...mainly greens.. spinach..kale..collards..Always liked bean sprouts and alfalfa sprouts but they are now non existent in stores..I'm definitely down to learn some methods of healthy eating...My body is forcing this more than it's a decision to be honest...But something like this I know I could get completely into

Not quite the same as microgreens, but the broccoli sprouts sure are easy, and don't take up much space.

I keep a perpetual 1/2 gal grow going on the kitchen counter. Just 3 tablespoons broccoli seeds and a couple rinses a day.

I've always ordered the "Broccoli Sprouting Seeds, Non-GMO Verified – 5 lbs" for $46.99 before discounts.
Looking at their site, it seems like things are a little scarce atm.

Fairly recent vid from Dr Berg about them below:

Yeah brother it's super rewarding. Order up some greens and trays and by the time you have them it'll be time for the next round. I recommend the sunflower, pea and wheatgrass to start with. There is a salad mix you can try. I don't eat enough greens either so it's a nice fix. Some of the value is about 40x that of regular greens and you can really feel the boost when you eat them. I used to eat a bit of fish but other than that I've been a vegetarian for 27 years. Now I'm trying to cut out the bad sugars, avoid most oily stuff and don't do much spicy either. Working on a big gardening project, building raised beds for growing as much food as possible. Nothing better than food straight from the garden.
