Anvil 06 (F8) seed harvest, pre screen and clean. No visible bugs despite this plant living outside from sex, and getting little to no ipm. Ill have to go back through the branches and check for stragglers tomorrow, we have rain coming and I wanted to get the bulk of it done and inside before weather hits.

Packages 2 and 3 have arrived. Still waiting on DCSE, but its my fault for delayed payment. Didnt realize they lost a payment method until after the fact.

So for the past few grows I have been trying to find my preferred methods of growing. 1, 2, 3, and 5 gallon pots, 3, 4, 5, 6 weeks of veg, topped, lst, super cropped, au natural; I have learned reaching deep into my 3'x4' Closet is a pain in the ass, Ive learned the cross bar in my cabinet (for trellising) makes removing my plants more difficult. Just all the little ins and outs. Ive also learned what lights I prefer, having tried Rapid, ChilLED, HLG, and Viparspectra...

All that to say, I think i am heading for a change... The Phenohunt bags as well as the 20" x 44" are all part of that developing plan.

Results of the early spring auto seed harvest. I have some single branch pollination off 3 other Anvils still to harvest, which will be kept separate. This Anvil seed stock is what Ill be using to work a line over the summer. Not sure if Ill run Anvil x Mosca (Skywalker BX1/West Coast OG F4/Sunset Sherb F4) or Anvil x Twenty20 (Triks F5/Durban F4) first, but thats whats percolating.

Early spring outdoor auto test run. Cold temps and short hrs definitely impacting size, next round of autos starting soon. I mostly wanted to use this early run to get an idea of frost fragrance and flavor before pollinating next cycle. The Roc Bud Fringes are by far the frostiest, one pheno showing blackish.

Still here. Things with the outdoor veggies are starting to settle down. Ill do a thorough update Thursday. These have been growing outside for a couple weeks. Going to give them new shoes and flip some of them, might let some continue on. My Peyote Critical x Mr Iyotu (bagseed) cross on the left, Frim's Blackberry Bread in the middle, and Amos' Midnight Crack on the right. 8x of each.

All in all I am very pleased with this run. The goal this time was to push my au natural grown plant counts without creating airflow congestion issues. The 1gals in the cab, and the 2gals in the closet, coupled with a late up pot has kept them roughly the size I want. The goal this run was to sample several cultivars, to find something that works for the wifes health issues. This has also been a test run for me to know my capacity for any future breeding projects. Up next will be 4x 3gal plants (Eso DBB, DinoParty Booba, Amos' Copper Orgi, and either a Bred by 42 Eskimo Cookies, or a Sangria Cookies by Hillbilly Bob of County Line Genetics, and a single 15gal Varins G which will ultimately be flowered outside and sent for testing. Then the indoor gets shutdown for the summer to avoid the heat.

Wish I didnt have to tape the Mosca bags closed, as the strain name is not on the seed container and theres no way to reseal the bag is this common and the first time Im noticing it?

Edit: Maybe Im just really medicated and this happens all the damn time, but for whatever reason Im noticing it right now, and it bugs... Such a princess in my old age.

Ended up wetting 2x Eskimo Cookies by Bred By 42, 1x Varins G by Seattle Chronic Seeds, 1x of each of the 8x autos shown in the previous pic (which are going straight into 2gal root pouches filled with recycled Anvil & JEM soil, hit with 1/3c each of BAS Craft Blend, compost, & castings), 49x second plantings of some assorted bush beans, 75x plantings of my second staggered corn planting, and 32x plantings of corn I am starting in an oak barrel for my dad.
