A herm? Or not a herm?

No, but keep an eye out for any fresh bananas that might pop out . That could be caused by wind , light , Even if you let the medium dry out too much . etc . Jmo ? looks like she'd be fine to finish up

Thanks everyone for your help. I guess I should move it out of there in hopes the pollen hasn't knocked up the other ladies in there. Maybe even chop it. I think it was going to finish by the end of the month anyway, so why not Friday the 13th of May?

I'd ride it out personally. You spent that much time and effort. If you do see a banana pluck it off. See if there's any pollen in it. It's a lot different when you got actual sacks filled with pollen opening versus what you have here. Jmo

I cut it down already and there are a few green seeds. Probably a lot of them, but I stopped looking after the first few. The last time one of my plants hermed it was easier to spot. This is the second time it's happened in two years so I guess I'll live.

I miked it and trichomes aren't cloudy so it's basically a wash. That's ok - I gave one of my legal adult offspring a pile of buds last week and have plenty more in jars where that came from. I'll probably make bho out of the whole plant anyway but am going to cure and test the buds anyway. My wife smokes for RLS and insomnia, and it's possible medicine for her.

I was going to let it ride, but the only place to do that is outside and days are getting longer.

I can definitely see it now - thanks!

I put her through a lot of stress, not entirely my fault but mostly. At least now I know how to test for herms lol. I still have two clones and am going to run her again to see if I can get her to harvest without herms. Just as an experiment, but her breeding days are over.

This all started the day after I flushed to fix some nute problems I caused.

Those green almost immature bean looking things are a trip. Because I've had strains that produced those but never turned to seeds. It had me thinking plant was pollinated but it was just those weird flowers.
It would have probably been ok. I checked the plant next to her and was unable to find any seeds. But I need to retire the shed she's in. There's a little bit of light leakage around the door and it would be complicated and expensive to fix. I had the lights set to turn on/off such that the leaks only happened during uptime. But now that the days are longer I'm pretty sure it's part of the problem and she might have thought day length was increasing as well.

I for sure see nanners (stamin) here. Looks like judgement was already made and action was taken by the time I'm writing this...

But, I'll still throw my 2 pennies in...and info for future reference...

It was stress induced in my opinion/experience, not necessarily an issue with the genetics, per se. I say this because true herms will throw both reproductive organs, i.e. pistils and pollen sacks. While nanners (stamin) busting through calyx are the plants last ditch efforts for survival.

If you weren't already aware, every cannabis plant has this hardwired, last ditch effort, in their genetics/DNA... In regards to this plant, it was triggered by something.

Aside from the nanners, it looked pretty good to me! And it looked very close to being done...I would have most likely rode it out but just segregated from the rest of the population (or, at least, give all plants in the tent/area a foliar hose down on the daily til finish to kill any flying pollen). That way, so that all your time and effort, to get to that point, don't go to complete waste?

Very well said @MO_Grow I agree.

It was most definitely stress-induced. A whole laundry list of things that went wrong - equipment failure, experiments with nutes, possible light pollution and heat problems -- you name it (but I won't).

That's why I hung onto a clone to run it again. I scoped it 24 hours after chop inside and was able to see mostly cloudy trichomes. It could have gone a week or two more but should have finished a couple of weeks ago.

I don't know whether it's a thing, but I'm thinking maybe I did some things that slowed it down and a natural clock kicked in.
