Sorry it has taken a while to get over here @AlienAthena . I have been a lot busier than normal since the site launched and i dislike saying that as i am retired. I am looking at your shot here on the sprouts and it is hard to tell what size those cups are. I can't tell if they are the real small beer bong size but i hate when they sprout that tall. I have gotten in the habit lately when ii use the big solo cup size i just fill it half way. They don't seem to mind at all covering the crown or whatever it is called. I just fill up the rest of the cup of media and whala instant support. ? Looking forward to watching your grow.
Yup those are tiny 2 oz solos lol. I didn’t bury the seeds deep enough and also had my light way too high so I created the perfect environment for stretchy pants. The too tall ones are already in 1L pots while the ones that haven’t stretched are still chilling. I like them with coco as I had a problem with overwatering the seedlings in bigger pots but the 2 oz dry out “quick” so that isn’t an issue. I’ll be using them for clones too. I hope the grow is entertaining.. right now we’re in the watching paint dry stage

I know this sounds crazy and some will disagree. I had a member contact me when at RIU about my coco growth a good while back. We both had very similar grows going accept his were almost twice the size of mine. After lengthy conversations with this individual and experimenting to prove it to myself i came to his conclusion that coco was almost impossible to overwater. During experimenting with it i felt like i was getting close to hydro growth results keeping the coco pretty wet with daily feedings verses once every few days as i was doing prior to that. The problem with that method is it opens the door wide open for fungus gnats. I believe the majority of the cases of possible over watering stems from other factors that arose during transplants and so forth.

How often are you feeding Capt? I've used coco like hydro, feeding 3-4 times/day. As well as I've treated it like soil, and hand watered once every other day. Wildly different results, lol.

I just placed the seed in coco and lightly watered it everyday and it started withering away within days.. It could’ve been my water itself also tho. I will run a auto in coco and test this out

There are weak points in the over watering theory and a seedling is one of them and a transplant is the other. I have had really good luck putting seeds in coco to sprout. After a 24 hr soak in ro water with a touch of H2o2. I saturate the coco with a light feed and the place the seed shallow 1/4 inch deep max. At this point i do treat it like soil and it will not be irrigated for several days. To be one the safe side you can also treat it like soil for the first week or two and then you can hit them hard. I had my doubts about being able to not overwater with coco. When i was experimenting with it i had no problem irrigating everyday even during a transplant( during testing all coco was a 50/50 mix with perlite). I made the transplant as stress free as possible though. Coco is a strange media but it is all i have ever used. I am having a couple of plants stall on me right now but i think it may have something to do with the coco i was using from flora flex . @macsnax warned me about it but the tight wade in me said use some of it. :ROFLMAO:

I have done several flushes so far and if i have gained any ground it is barely noticeable, Pretty concerned at this point as it has been well over a week of just setting there (not getting worse mind you just not doing anything). I keep thinking they will come out of it.

Day 24 of Flower for the Lucky 7's and Bridezillas

I wish there were more plants in there as I don't like how much of the floor is visible but man that Lucky 7's is going to YIELD well. I need to tie the Bridezillas down so I can lower the light a couple notches.

Now for what you all came for, from left to right: Sin City Juice, X-Files, Pandemic, and then Moon Juice and Bitersweet.
Looking a lil wonky after getting watered as I accidently got water all over some of those leaves..

(I messed up the soil to coco ratio on these, with too much soil, and need to add more coco to my lil mix before next transplant)

The Tralfamadore are growing slow. They were germed and planted at the Sin City Juice. I'm thinking of germing two more but I have more than a month to veg so I'll let em go another week to see how they do before deciding

Looking to get a bigger tent which has me itching to germ more seeds but I gotta resist :(

I hate seeing an empty spot too. Lol.
Like dammit, I'm wasting electricity to see the dang floor in brilliant brightness. Lmfao.
You have much more self control than I in the seed popping. Lol.

Lol forreal it's really bugging me how much of the floor is visible. From now on though we're going wall to wall coverage. Going to pack them thangs in there next round as long as there isn't too many boys.

I plan on running kinda perpetual so whenever these plants start showing sex they're going to start going in the 3x3. I know the Moon Juice and Bittersweet are fem so as soon as I can take some cuttings they'll go in the flower tent. I'll also take cutting of whatever other plants turn out fem. I'm also thinking about collecting male pollen from any boys this round but I'm kinda lazy lol. Next round of seeds will get germinated end of March.

Things became so much more exponentially fun after becoming a perpetual grow setup.
Always something interesting happening then. Lol
What're you thinking of chucking?
Or just making F2's or such?

I really only plan to take pollen from Sin City Juice if it's a boy as the other reg seeds are testers. I want to test my methods before planting seeds I plan to F2 or S1.
But really I want to make feminized seeds so I'm thinking of testing my CS on some of the clones. Like there's a lot of reg seeds where I only have 5 seeds or less a pack or 1 fem seed from my my earlier seed buying days, but I don't want to run them until I know I can make seeds someway somehow.

There's a number of one's I've got that I'm the same with. Don't wanna run em til I'm ready to chuck em. Lol
They're just not available any more for quite a few of them in my collection.
If you're needing some more dank seeds to run, I'd be happy to send some your way.
They're from personal chucks of mine, pm me if you'd like.
