Okay, I've been using AC Infinitys Controller 67 with a 6" Cloudline fan combo I was blessed with by @Deebs for quite some time now and have been using another in another tent also.
Simple and easy to use and have had zero issues.
So,,, I decided to go with a Controller 69 Pro for my flower room and the main selling point was wifi capable.
So, with said Controller 69 Pro in hand along with two new Cloudline 6" inline fans and two UIS ac outlets I attempt to get on our wifi network.
Well, it appears that if you have a dual band or just 5G router it's a no go for connection.
After recieving errors concerning the need for a 2.4 ghz, or 4G network it became apparent that the new controller is not compatible.
In other words, it will require, in my situation to get and install a 2.4ghz access point with new SSID.
Anywho, wireless router just showed up so I can see if I can get this fancy new controller to sign in.

I don't know why would be needed. Many routers are dual band and you can create either a 5g or 2.4GHz network or one of each from the same router.

Come to my house there are 3 SSID's
TSC
AUTOMATION
HOME

Edit: Validated the controllers are running on my 2.4GHz band. I will flip em to test though

I am currently troubleshooting an issue with customer support with using an s6 clip fan on a 69pro.

How I noticed it was the light on the back of the fan was coming on.

During the on/off cycle program the fan would shut down during the on time and start back up. Switch the fan with another unit and the issue went away.

They are having me run the cycle timer via the advanced programming option and it seems to be working.

Also, notice a bug when naming automations. It'll rename certain ones as you create more.

Feeling more like megacrop with this company.

I got some samsung "smart lightbulbs" (I'm pretty sure they're samsung) that I have the same problem with. They keep telling me I need the 2.4 and not the 5.0. It *does* work eventually, but for the 4 lightbulbs in a single fixture above the table, I'd need to connect each one individually, and set each one individually. More of a pain in the ass than its worth for something cosmetic like that. It is fun when its set up cause it can pulse some cool colors.

I do like the infiniti umm tent venter thingamajig. I got a (fancier series) 6'' one in the 4x8 and it keeps it just where I like it. WOrth the investments for sure. Good luck with your Wifi quest.

Ok, Skunky has a question.
With my Controller 69 Pro is it pissible to run 2 Cloudline inline fans simultaneously from a single UIS port by using this single male Molex to 2 female Molex splitter attached to the UIS to Molex dongle? Screenshot_20230406_211446_Samsung Internet.jpg
Reason I'm needing to know is I'm running 2 inline exhaust fans.

It might be worth a shot I think if the other ports are full. They advertise a uis to uis 4 to 1 is in development which makes me think there is an amp or something in it, not as simple as a splitter. @dstroy0 any insight here?

Just trying to think of how they operate and on 2nd though might not be a good idea.

The high side of the molex is what's gonna power the controller the low side is the signal. Even if I have those reversed, the power is coming from the fan and you might fry the controller.

I don’t know what the output on the controller is rated for, it might trip the overload protection and shut the fans off with that little blinking caution symbol. I don’t think it will break the controller but it will turn the fans off until the controller is reset.

I recieved this reply from Casandra @AC concerning the molex splitter.

We are in the process of developing an expansion dongle that you can use with the Controller 69. The dongle will allow you to connect more than one device to one port. Since it is under development we do not have an exact release date. However, to give you a ballpark we are hoping to have it released within this month or next month.

I would recommend keeping an eye on our social media platforms and our social media platforms for any updates.

We apologize for the wait!

Pre ordered 3 of these, says will ship by the 3rd.

This allows like components to use single port for programming. i.e. if you are powering multiple lights they can be timed through a single port instead of each device needing it's own port allowing more devices to be controlled simultaneously.

Could you split them multiple times, like plug a 2 in 1 into a 2 in 1 to have a three in one? Or just one doubler at a time per port?
Yep, they can be stacked.
I'm inpatient or I would have waited till next month when they're supposed to release a 4 to 1 splitter.
I'll be running 3 of their AC outlet plugs for timers for my lights all on one port and 2 exhaust fans simultaneously on another port.
That way I'll have 9 devices and only need 2 of the 4 available UIS ports and still have 2 more ports to work with.
Got my eye on their Cloudforge T7 humidifier.
I'm wanting that graphing on my phone and wifi adjustments.

I just may have to jump on the infinity bandwagon.
I really like that graphing function to see what's doing what and when. Lol.
