Tilts at Tables
Two reasons I sleep beside my bunny.
First, the little crunching and chewing noises put me to sleep.
Secondly, hygiene; I am not laying down anywhere near a dirty litter box.

Found some woodstove pellets for a good price. Advertised as Hardwood, I decided to mix it up a bit.
Excessive cellulose and lignin there; it takes longer to compost.
I have been using it as a topper, still using finished compost as a base layer.

Better contrast, I can tell how fresh the pan is at a glance.

Rabbits do love a briar patch, but I think my girl is starting to slow down a bit. I have simplified the floor plan for ease of mobility. I took out the ramp, and added an upper deck.

Bunnies need stuff to do. I left a passage under the plank, and I arranged the stumps into a staircase. I change out the stumps, after she has debarked them.
In the fall, we gathered about 10 gallons of Poplar Tree, twigs and leaves. I sprinkle them around on occasion, so she always has a little treat to find around the next corner.

I often make grass braids while I am passing time down at the river. Sometimes they are an intricate feast, other times they're just rushed garlic knots.

Honestly, if she wasn't so efficient and determined with electrical cords, she would be a free ranging animal. The cats miss the litter box more often than she does.

Cats be damned!
The lid isn't for the rabbit, it keeps everyone else out of the litter box.
