I love a few cherry tomatoes chopped in half and grilled in with my fish. Love it with leather jackets, whiting and flatty tails. Just seems to give them that extra zing. Grass whiting, we call them strangers over here. Kgw plenty here but not so much strangers. They nice mate? I'd imagine part of whiting family they'd be beautiful.

Yep I get it . Love oven baking fillets dressed in tomato , onions , capsicum, sliced lemon , Oregano and chopped bacon .
Sand Whiting are a more subtle flavour than KGW and only takes maybe a minute each side to cook . Im pretty spoilt where I am because we can fish both shallow and deep water fish with an hours travel .
leather jackets are so underrated . The flesh is beautiful and the cheeks when scalloped are like fish nuggets .
I live in the biggest fishing fleet in Oz so just about everything is on hand .

This is from last night... my first attempt at a Cambodian style beef curry, recipe courtesy of @Deebs and his wife. Putting the Makrut lime tree he sent me to good use. It looks prettier when they make it lol. I'll get it down eventually though. I'm completely obsessed with these flavors. If you haven't tried Cambodian food you really should. 20211114_163724.jpg
