You know Frim can’t really say I have a favorite in the last year. All my babies are favorites until the chop. Some new work this year is HSC’s Collie Man Kush crosses, (slow going, I’m lazy) that is the favorite of the moment I guess.

The Korengal Kush from L13 that I mentioned above is a winner all the way.

I also wanted to mention that I've been reading about a drop in quality from JOTI as they further embrace the "cross everything with everything and send it out the door" craze. Hearing about intersex issues becoming too common. I just wanted to add this as I am on record earlier in the thread giving props to this company.

My JOTI stuff has been mostly good, though the Mississippi Sweet Bud disappointed me, but most of it is also from a few years back.

Anything pancakes or runtz atm . I didn’t think I’d ever say that either but goddam those are two amazing strains rn
Lol bro you treated it like a guilty pleasure ! Fuck that guilt; you go cross that with OG Kush and some type of Cookies, and name it like "OG Runtz Cookies" or like "Runtz Cookies OG" and watch the money roll in like Scarface Haha!

It's been taking a beating on RIU lately regarding the newer stuff. I posted a pic in POTM of JOTI's Black Dolato the day of chop, then when trimming a few days later discovered it was fully seeded by a bunch of spent bananas. It's always the one in the back of the tent ...
that 'bud' tent was pretty much ruined.

On the positive side, the Loud Jelly Beans from Ganja Farmer has been a treat. Just started smoking plant #3, and it's as excellent as the first two and very consistent. It's Candyland x Gelato 31 [I think]. I've been scooping up a bunch of gelatos. They are often my favorite smokes.

That sucks hard.

The further I get in this hobby, the pickier I am becoming about what comes into my space, whether seeds, clones or medium. I've worked too hard to go backwards and spending months or longer dealing with an infestation(again) or making up for a lost crop is something I absolutely want to avoid.

Sorry you got screwed, man.

Thanks. Of course it's disappointing on several levels, but I'm not short on smoke, so mostly a loss of time, and I had 3 Brisco's in there I wanted very much to sample. The male Black Dolato pollen I'd collected instantly became Kansas*. But yeah, that's the sort of thing that would have been devastating a few years back.

I have a theory that you and I are quite similar in some respects. If that had happened to me, I would be pissed off because I got screwed due to someone else's poor work.

I know if I fuck up, I'll own it and take my lumps, whether growing or otherwise. I just hate paying for someone else's mistakes. That's where my empathy was coming from.

Yep. But I accept a large helping of the fault. I sort of fell in love with all but one plant in that tent, and obviously wasn't as diligent as I should have been. The delicious irony is that I peddle seeds. Just not these seeds. There's gonna be some fat birds 'round here come late spring.
