Autos have a trick that needs to be addressed. Until you figure it out, you will get subpar growth. The autos I deal with, smoke way better than photos. Until recently, I thought the difference was in the bud structure. If your auto doesn’t look as well as a photo, there is something that you are doing wrong. Rocbuds plants are usually huge. 2 ounce off and auto is nothing. They can perform just as well as a photo... especially outside. Most newer autos will truely surprise you. Photo growers always say autos aren’t their yet .. auto growers say. I don’t know what the heck he is smoking. Most of the autos I smoke are on par with each other. The only differences will be yield and taste. Fastbuds have huge autos that taste great as well. I can’t tell the difference between and the photo they are modeled after.

Agree with you on most all of it, though for my environment, a solid 2 ounce harvest will still continue to be my baseline for par. I will typically get a bit more, sometimes a lot more. But if I see 2 come off dry, I feel it was a general basic run. Not happy not sad. Just my experience. But I do agree with you on quality for sure. And again, I will normally get more, and maybe I should bump up to 3 at this point, but I try to keep it fun, and fun for me is 2.

I also have been running 2 gallons for a bit now as well and I have noticed a difference from the three.

I saw this guy grow a few of mine in his garden next to some photos, there was no comparison. The auto was just as tall but bud was huge. Here is the largest on I have grown. It was 10+ ounces in 63 days. At the time didn’t know what I was doing so the bud is fox tailed. These are nympho plants over a couple of years. Each is from a different grow. I used to grow big plants. Now I try to grow big bud. Better structure. They used to know it was an auto. Now they ask me where did I get that? They don’t even think I grew it because it is so much nicer now.

Right now im liking the fastbuds stuff. It taste beautiful. The strains are on point. Every body is screaming RocBudInc. He breeds a purple plant to everything. Plus this stuff is only a couple of generations. No work involved. Mephisto I like. I really like. Right now just grab something and grow in. Be gentle with them is the best advice

Whats everyones thoughts on Wicked Pissah? I just got a good many freebies from them and a bunch of mystery autos to grow out but they are 10-12 weekers easy which in my opinion is the same as running a photo time wise. The whole reason I like autos is so I can get a harvest in between flipping my photos to flower. but with these I wont be able to flip i will have to dedicate a whole tent to autos and a whole tent to photos i just dont have that much room right now. I guess my questions would be is it worth it? has anyone had experience with Wicked Pissah autoflowers and did you think the wait was worth it is my main dilemma here.

Just run them along side the photos and flip them together. I have never tried wpissah tho . Hope u get a good one ?

I grew a bunch, very mixed results. Kinda disappointed because they're local to me and I want to support them. They're Black Cherry pebbles was one of my all time favorite autos but I burned through an entire pack of Sour Sheriff and got a mix of duds and hermies. I hit them up about it and never got a response. Ran their 2020 mystery pack and got two straight up males... which was surprising lol

Now as far as what Auto flower breeders I recommend, Id have to say give Binary Selections a go

I ran their Nurple Auto (blackberry kush auto X Nami F2) and it was gorgeous. Granted I grew it in a solo cup to try out the bud quality before I used up space in my tent for it and to be honest it was AMAZING!! the buds were a deep purple hue with a coating of frosty trichs all over it. The aroma was similar to a berry bush with a strong earthy Muskiness and this pleasant chocolate/cocoa note that i cant quite pin point. This strain ran a touch longer than the other Binary Auto I ran finishing at about day 72.

I also ran Binary Selections strain called Jogi OG (Chikara X Alien Overlord) This strain grew fast and I mean fast and talk about frosty whole shit was this one glistening. I just got a new phone and sadly I lost all of my pics from all of my grows so I dont have any pics of her but she grew about 3ft from the soil and branched out wonderfully in the shape of a christmas tree making it so each bud site got some kind of light. I did not top any of these because I was unsure of the stabilization of these genetics but after growing these out I will be trying different training techniques in the future with Binary Selection strains.

As far as the grow went i didnt have any problems with pest, mold, mildew or bud rot. She finished in 64 days from sprout with alot of heavy Trich production. The buds did seem a little leafy but once i trimmed them up they were gorgeous. Aroma and taste are similar I get a sweet, piney, citrusy aroma with a gassy exhale.

This is kinda what I was hoping I wouldn't hear... but I'm glad you told me. Thanks for being straight forward about them. Ive always noticed they sell out fast on the site I use to order my beans so I figured they were really good. After doing some research I learned that they grow rather large for an auto and have a pretty large yeild. I also heard that they were very solid genetics.. However hearing this from you I am thinking its more of a 70:30 chance of getting a viable plant for harvest.

I have a few of the 2pk mystery freebies and then the bank i use sent me a pack of Sheriff Pebbles and a pack of Wicked Mystery. all of which say 12weeks on them. I guess the best thing to do here is just give then a run and see what happens. I think I will plant a few more than i normally do though because of you saying about the males and herms I want to get the best chance I can at getting a few females from this breeder. thanks for getting back so fast.

Couldn't agree more. I loved that strain, and the smoke was so pleasant and aromatic. The buzz is great for morning or on a lunch break to get your head right again and focus on what needs done.

Yeah, keep us posted. They're a small breeder and I really want to see them do well. It's always possible I just had bad luck. Like I said, their pebbles line was wonderful smoke, and the yield was great, though the run time was pretty long.
