In most cases, the Putang is dominant. I only had one plant to sample, and it tasted more like the sunshine 4. I did, however, leave my mouth with a fruity flavor on the back end. I like to smoke in general and it had a nice, upbeat, daytime high. For only one plant I was very happy. There have been quite a few tests grows with happy people also. And it appears to harvest late September early October.?

I did the Star Dragon (Stardawg J x 3 Headed Dragon) a couple years ago, and really liked em. Made a couple crosses too, with some Schwaggy genes, and something else.
I recently finished some Chem D x Apollo (#?), and they were the standout of their flower class.
Now I have a few each of the "Tres Stardawg x Runaway Bride", and "Sunshine 4 x Sunshine 4 #7 & 8" seedlings, started about April 1.
I’m really looking forward to both of these. I think HillBill over on RIU said the TSD x RAB was funky as hell, and really liked it, so I’ve been looking forward to them since.
I recently finished some Chem D x Apollo (#?), and they were the standout of their flower class.
Now I have a few each of the "Tres Stardawg x Runaway Bride", and "Sunshine 4 x Sunshine 4 #7 & 8" seedlings, started about April 1.

Ha, pretty Chem D-ish, like most of the crosses I’ve run. Was mostly musty lemon while growing, but after dry, it was more of the mothball-y funk I’m used to getting from D crosses. They were my favorite of the strains flowered at the same time. The others were my Pillow Book x Spring Training cross, and M48s Dawn of the Dead. All were nice in their own ways, but the Chem D x Apollo took the lead overall, for me.

The Pillow Book is by Bodhi, and actually has Chem D in it as well lol (Socal Master Kush x (Chem D x Blackberry Widow))
From my pack, they were all purple buds with green leaves. They smelled / tasted like blackberry and cedar, and were nice plants.
I crossed a Pillow Book female with a cross I made called “Spring Training", which was a Florida OG cut crossed to a hermied Golden Tiger (Malawi x Thai).
My goal was to see how close I could get to something Cookie-ish, using similar genetics. Purple from the Pillow Book, OG, and some African.
I actually found 1 of 3 that could pass for Cookie genetics, while the other 2 were really OG leaning.
The Dawn of the Dead were actually really Cookie similar as well, and while they were all growing, you might think all 3 DoD and my 1 PB x ST were sisters. I’ll get pics in the updates on all these in my main "Vertical DIY LED thing" journal soon.
I’m trying to get caught up on all my updates ASAP, but procrastination has my work piled up on me lol

That Chem D x Apollo was one of the better vaping weeds I have grown. I am sitting on a few of those Sunshine 4's, never got them into rotation and the supply builds.....will watch for yours.

Damn you put some hard Sativa in that huh? Did that make the flower time crazy ? Cedar would be one interesting flavor, as I haven't really had one do that as of yet. Then again you've seen what I have started this season, so I'm not likely to have many that aren't some form of rotted meat haha.
When you say Cookie, do you mean like, taste or profile ? Or growth structure ? My cookie experience is pretty limited (GMO only).

Y'know, I love the vape for efficiency, and smoothness, but definitely prefer a joint or clean bong for better flavor representation, in general.
How did the she taste for you in your vape, and what temp?
We've got a Volcano over here, and keep it set at 380*f. To me, it makes the flavor of everything kinda middle of the road, which is a great thing for bad tasting weed, and a bad thing for great tasting weed. I've definitely been extra thankful when vaping some stuff that dried too fast, or whatever, and tasted better in the Volcano. For super flavorful weed, personally, it seems to mute it down a lot.
I've grown a few Bad Dawg genes so far, and always been happy with the results!
I've got Doober to thank for most of the latest stuff going. He was super cool to send the Chem D x Apollo, SS4 x SS4, Wedding Cake x SS4, and SFV OG x Long Bottom Leaf.
I ran 4 of the Chem D cross, and made a few F2s with the 1 male and 3 girls.
I'm running 4 of the SFV cross, got 2 boys, 2 gals. I think the girls are at 4 and 7 weeks, and were both hit lightly by both boys, so hopefully there's a few F2s cooking of those as well.
The Wedding Cake X SS4 cross is the only one I haven't started yet of those 4. I was already running a possible WC cross at the time, but, looking back, I could've run them side by side for comparison.
Now that I think about it, I've got a couple different WC crosses, including my questionable "Wedding Cake (Or Gary Payton) x Orange Julius" that I should run together to find out which is the most like WC, and whether my mystery cut was WC or Gary Payton after all.
I've also got some WC x Cakefighter, and I think I still have a couple Mendo Cookies x Cakefighter left I could toss in the mix.
Might have a Cakey round in the future...
I had to check out the Sunshine 4 (F3s?) because of the "Sunshine 4" cut that was popular back around 2015 or so. I don't have it anymore, but it'll be interesting to see how these (actual Sunshine 4 F3s?) seeds compare to the Sunshine 3 "Sunshine 4" or whatever.
It's a bit confusing, as I'm still not sure whether the guy who made these used the old popular "SS4" cut, or an actual pack of Bodhi's SS4, and F2'd them, but they should be some lemony, chemmy goodness anyway.
What Sunshine stuff you sitting on?
The flowering time actually came down to a normal 9-10 weeks or so, I think. The "Cookie pheno" was the slightly earlier one too.
I actually got really interesting smells from the Pillow Books I ran. From blackberry and grape, to garlic and cedar. And I get savory / meaty smells from Golden Tiger and crosses sometimes too!
I'd say that pheno could be confused for some "Dessert strains" as fas as looks, smells, and structure...More of an OGKB style strain though, than like GMO, which are basically the different ends of the spectrums for popular Cookies cuts.
The taste was slightly sweetish and slightly spicy, like a lot of the Dessert strains out there.

I am a joint person all the way. But I use the vape more and more to give my lungs a break. In a joint and bag smell I was getting a slightly rotten pineapple from her. Vape-wise, I liked her because the buzz and the vapor volume. Some weed smokes well but vapes poorly and vice versa, imo. So if one is better than the other I will notice and make note. I am mostly vaping @ 390 F in the mighty and the honeystick is @ 28 watts...whatever the heck that ends up being. I just cleaned out all my dosing pods for the mighty and will load one of the flavors I have here in all of them. If I can fire that mighty 3 times and get good volume it's good......actually that is the minimum
As for sunshines, I am mostly playing with sunshine daydream crosses. Sunshine Queen in veg, Dream Axis just finished, Silver Sunshine on deck.........I have a few more too, just can't recall the names ...all Bodhi and then I have 6-7 of Bad Dawgs Sunshine 4's. (and a whole bunch of others. I also ran "The White x Sunshine 4" BD freebie........another great plant, good weed and I ran it twice. That yielded pretty well outdoors.

If you’re talking about the sunshine 4 seeds that I made. I had two packs of sunshine 4 from Bodhi . And I selected a female and two males out of two packs. The F twos are in open pollination. The rest were hit with male number seven. Hope that helps. They were great funky taste with a lot of frost and a good yield.
And I used Apollo 13 F4 from Mota in my Apollo crosses .
