Well I guess I should start a grow journal over here to post updates and whatnot. I probably won't update on other sites anymore for the most part, too much to keep up with more than one.

Equipment:

4x4x80 flower tent
4" ac infinity exhaust fan and filter
Light #1 is 4 qb 132's in 3500k on an hlg 240
Light #2 is 2 atreum 288 boards in 3000k on an hlg 240

For veg I'm using a small 25"x30"x40" cab with a cheap bathroom exhaust fan and a f-strip build on an hlg 185 (usually dimmed most of the way down. I used to flower in this cab before the tent)

Running mostly Greenpoint strains at the moment
The deputy
Hibernate
Bridezilla
GMOozy (last run for this one)
Black banana cookies s1 (first run of this one)

And 3 grease's pieces testers for 313 seeds

Currently using megacrop in promix hp. Hopefully this is the last flower cycle in the tent, I am hopefully gonna throw some walls up in the spring and make an actual room.

Cuts got tossed into cups today. Had two that didn't have roots popping out the the rooters, they were extras so I tossed them. They probably would have rooted, but I'm done waiting, and I wanted the tray to set the cups in.

They look a bit rough, but that's pretty normal for me lol. They should be looking better in a week or two.

I'll drop this here too, if anyone has any input I would be glad to hear it. It is my tentative room design/layout I'm planning. I'm trying to get it all figured out before I start building so I can figure up a rough cost and whatnot.

9x12 is the max I can go before framing gets a whole lot more complicated, and this seems like the best use of space to keep things easy to work on.

I'm not a carpenter or a master builder but I would cheat that interior wall closer to the 3x3 flood table to give you a little more room to maneuver in the flower room. Why is that wall 5"? Blueboard, extra sheetrock? I would also probably stick to standard size interior doors (30" or 36") to save some money. The other thing is you should think about switching around one of the door swings so they won't collide. Take all of this with a big grain of salt, as I said I'm not a carpenter just a hack. I would ask a pro like @JL2G.

That wall is 5" because I forgot to change it lol. I kind of want a little wiggle room for the of OD of the table just in case. I'm probably gonna make the door into the flower room out of plywood to save some money, and to try and get a more light tight seal so I can put the hinges wherever.

Thinking I might dump the exhaust from the flower room into the veg room. It stays relatively cool down there year round so it should hopefully keep the veg room nice and warm. 200 watts in a room that big isn't gonna heat it up much over ambient lol

Heck ya mang. Build it and they will grow.
Bad ass. ???
I'm at work at the moment just popping in on a break. Figured I'd throw my 2 cents in too. Lol
Imho for a good light seal I'd go with an exterior prehung door.
Brand new they're about $200 or less and come air, and light tight.
The plywood doors work well, but no where near as convenient as a real working sealed door.
Anyways, back to work. Lol.

Just another random thought, you could spin the flower room flood tables 90 deg, push themto the outer walls and move the door to the center. Then either do a pocket door or standard swing door. This would give you an extra 10" between the flood tables.
I forgot to mention the reason I have the tables like that with the 2' in front where the door goes in, is because of some cold air return ducts running right there. So i can't really hang lights there, I figured that would be a good spot to put a carbon filter and fans and stuff. I've been thinking about a pocket door, but I think I might be short a couple inches for the frame system for it, I'll have to measure it again and check.

If I can find a nice deal on a scratch and dent exterior door I'll get one. Otherwise I think I'll have an easier time sealing up a plywood door than a standard interior door. Might just say fuck it and put a zipper door in or something too.

Anyone ever work with steel framing? I'm thinking about it since it's not load bearing or anything. Seems like it's pretty easy to work with and I would be saving my back some carrying down all the studs.

I've worked with all of it.
Personally I prefer wood as I can use my nailer and shoot everything rather than screw.
Pricewise now the steel ones are cheaper now with the way wood prices have risen over the last few years. And ya, def alot lighter. Lol.

As for the pocket door, they're just really hard to light seal easily is the main draw back.
The zipper door is a good idea though. They sell adhesive ones meant to attach to plastic walls, and or fabric walls. I use them all the time doing containment at jobsites.
Happy to go more in depth with any of for ya, it's what I do for a living mang. ?
