Living vicariously through you here on the outdoor gig. Hope the rain doesn't fuck shit up. It is what it is though, huh? Good old Mom. We're expecting rain and snow....

I feel for you guys going through the changes of late with jobs/schedules/uncertainty. I feel fairly fortunate to be older right now...for once...LOL.

And LOL on the wife overload aspect of it all. Again...I feel for ya if you aren't used to that much contact.....LOL. My wife and I are always together...and we only go to town every 4-5 days in a normal situation....so we snagged a few extras and are hibernating here in the sticks and seeing how long we can avoid making the trip to town again.

roll another one...just like the other one.... and don't share.

So you are both off work & home with the kids? Keeping kids engaged while quarantined….good luck with that. Very cool that your company valued you enough to keep you.

That news is driving folks crazy & a very big part of the problem. We have a ban on TV news here.

They cancelled the St Paddy’s day parade here at the last minute, I had already bought beer for the large after party, plenty of Guinness in the garage…could be worse I guess.

?
My wife is a stay at home mom, so it's really just like I joined what they do when I'm not around lol. My area just blew up with cases, it's time to stay home for sure..... All that beer and no where to go lol

At least you're secluded, that's an advantage right now. Stay safe buddy

Bag of Oranges got beat up the worst during heavy rains, but stripping the larger leaves & adding support she is doing OK. Definitely behind the ones inside tho. I will post pics of the indoor soon if anyone is interested.

I am sure not used to having the wife home 24hrs. a day & I love her to death. I feel for those of you with kids in the equation too.

Crazy times for sure. Hang in there & don’t watch the news!

Yes please on the indoor pics too. Cool AF seeing how different they're reacting with environments.

Yeah...this is one time I'm not hearing the typical shit from the wife about how I moved her into the boonies/away from civilization. Fuckin A... damn right.
Like I listen to that shit anyway. I always tell her she can pack anytime she wants....just leave my half on the table when ya go....LOL. She's still here.

Yeah...cool to see the differences.....but we all know they exist. The indoor is sure prettier most of the time....but wow...those paltry yields. Like trimming lowers on outdoor plants...LOL. That was it? For 3 months? I remember now why I ran 100+ every cycle.... had to.

I was the stay at home mom for years.....and the resident pot grower. I made more staying home than I ever did workin'. Damn that was fun.

be safe guys....... kinda like driving...you gotta watch out for everyone else, give em lots of berth, and be ready to take the ditch

We are lucky to be set up to hang out for awhile, there are many that aren’t. Since I worked from home the last 20 years or so I have a small studio in the back that was my home office before retirement. I have the tent in the bathroom there & have computers & TVs for entertainment, I am spending a lot of time there, the wife gets the house.

Kinda fun, it is unheated so I am not running the extractor fan, venting it back into the room. Starting to smell like Tang…

Yesterday I ended up hosting a small BYOB for some of my neighbors. A bring your own bong party. Ha. I supplied the tastings.

Made me think of you tho Stiicky, I wonder how your BOO will perform outside. The 3 inside ones smell awesome, I absolutely love it. The outside one is different, more of a slight gamy smell, not smelling oranges yet. After last year’s outdoor lacked the orange smell too. Interesting curiosity, wondering if that will change.

Sounds like a sweet set up. My garage is my go to spot when I need a break. Still need to do a buncha work down there.....but there's a wood stove, my old big ass stereo, and my tent...so hey...better than nothin'.

The BOO will certainly get a spot...maybe two. The rosin is so tasty...Mmmmm. Was gonna back off this year but with everything going on...I'll likely need the distraction. As far as smell...I find if it doesn't...it won't. The really stanky plants/tasty plants always smell early on, IMO. And there are plants...like my blueberry... where when you harvest them and dump the soil to shake the roots off.....the roots smell like the bud. Ever notice that on the really stinky girls?

Thanks for the peek

Nice that you have the garage for escape. Nobody looking over your shoulder. I am pretty good at the social distancing thing. :)

I am with you on the aroma, has to smell awesome to crack the line up. If it does not have an aroma I love it goes straight to hash, although dang am I behind in that. If it ever stops raining for a few days I gotta get on it.

Also agree on the grow distractions, I don’t need the smoke but I do need the fun… I had planned to shut down completely after harvesting the current BOO’s & heading south, but reconsidering travel plans. Will probably end up starting more.

Waiting on the next rain to start in a couple hours.

It is hard to get a decent pic in the tent, just no dang room in there. Just for entertainment factor here is a Star Pupil at 42 days since flip. It was the outside plant in the tent so pic worked.

I need to clean up the tent, including taking the plants out to rehang he light. I considered today but the rain is supposed to hit anytime. This Star Pupil smells great, but I sure am interested in those loud citrusy BOOs. BOO pics when I get them out into good light.

Not only social distancing but relentless rain too. Crazy times here.

I heard on Fox News that if you run in the rain with your mouth open while holding a Bobblehead doll of Paula White you will be instantly cured.

Of course, then you'll be a true, unthinking Zombie living for God....but you will "live". Find your wallet though. God wants his cut. Always.

My buddy ran the Star Pupil outside....just up the mountain from ya. Was almost blue...and he said he really enjoyed the smoke. Purty stuff, for sure!

Wow...rain, huh? We're getting damn dry here. Not good. We need a big dump. Really don't wanna combine Corona with a forest fire....

everybody is havin their own fun now though....so hey...whatever. Be safe down there

I ran that Star Pupil outdoors last summer too, it grew well, smells great, but was the preferred target for bud worms. The purple flowers made the worms really hard to spot, she was chewed pretty bad which is why I thought I would give it a try indoors. I also have one stunted outdoor one going now, I will post her sometime.

Odd that you are staying dry there, rain has been mostly a daily occurrence here for the last 10 days or so & still more predicted. Pretty saturated here.

Small shots of moisture.....but wayyyyy spread apart and no big dumps. Still have April to hope for......but it's starting to look like 2 years ago @ this point in time.

Kinda stupid to worry about any of it right now. I think we have to worry about making it to Summer this year. We're holding out enough hope that we p[anted onions outside today and covered the small hoop houses/raised beds with plastic. Definitely the earliest we've ever had ground in the garden that wasn't frozen solid.

Odd that the west coast weather pattern is so different this year. I would expect you to be wet this year too. Mostly has not been cold here either wet but warmer. We had a day of no rain yesterday when I finally got some outdoor chores done. Raining again today, not heavy but enough.

Hard to sort out priorities right now. All in all we are the lucky ones. Some long lines at the dispensaries this week.

Indoor grow is getting pretty cozy; & closer.

Front row is Star Pupil, back row is Boo, 1 more BOO, & maybe the prettiest is to the left & not showing. The far right BOO is getting color & smells great but that center one, intense orange creamsicle smells. Always loved those. Can’t wait.

Outdoor got its butt kicked night before last. Heavy hail with major thunder & lightning. It was cool, woke us all up. I was worried but they are fine. Pics to come.

Outdoor Star Pupil, she would normally have been culled, was not doing well but since it was winter I just threw her outside to see what happens.

She made it, is behind the other outdoors but smells amazing. The stalk is super rigid, makes my plant stakes jealous. Hail was no problem, a pleasant surprise.

Wow what a pretty and strong plant. If you walked by that "in the wild" you would have no choice but to be drawn to it. Nice shot (y)

51 days since being moved outdoors & this BOO is starting its fade. Interesting that the BOOs that stayed inside are just starting their fade too, I thought they were ahead of this one.

It got a little beat up in the hail storm but is resilient, it has been wet & cool.

Still no orange smell at all. All 3 indoors are heavily orange, this has little scent, what is there is more gamy smelling than anything. A strong plant, has plenty of trichomes, just no smell. Dang. 2nd time outdoors for me that the BOO did not get the smell. Coincidence?

Finally the rain has stopped for the day. Super wet week here, these girls were up to the task. Record breaking rains & winds here. I pulled the BOO the day before it started, she is hanging.

I left the rest to brave the elements. The front AFPAK/DLA5 cross is smelling extra awesome, kind of a gamy apple. They are hearty.

Putting on the fall colors in spring, trichomes are about 5% amber. Getting close.
