I haven't bought a new bong in years and have only purchased the cheapest functional pieces available to me for the longest time. But Im tired of the old dirty bongs n ways, and was feeling a lil spicy today so I sprung for some new glass...

Nice Mo! The bong is my preferred method as well. I, too, have only bought the cheapest pieces. The one I have now was only $25, but it's a pain in the ass to clean. You've motivated me to start looking for its replacement!

Yup, Bong has been my preferred me goes to means of consumption for, well, since highschool days ?

.. But I can also be really cheap also...so

...I'm pretty sure that's what I paid for my last, basic ass piece, too, and it's dirty and hard AF to clean as of late, n I don't like it! Been ready to toss that shit straight in the trash! But in any event, I'm honestly really happy with this purchase, it looks good, feels good, and hits with a kick! ?

Salt and alcohol for those hard to clean bongs. The salt crystals work like the abrasive while the alcohol eats off the bong film.
Oh, I already know brother, that's how I clean everytime...420 cleaner got to expensive for me yeeears ago, lol... A healthy dose of table salt and 70-90% iso (depending on what's available as of late) is how I've been going it for years now, and is extremely affordable, especially in comparison! But it just hasn't been cutting as of late (even with letting it soak for a while and using a magnetic scrubber ducky thingy-mabobber I have) and/or with this piece, for whatever reasons??

But this new one is much nicer and also hits much better... By simple observation and initial experience in use, I think design had a bit to do with it (it's delivery system, it's really all about delivery that makes an experience what it really becomes of and is!)...it rips and gets the user ripped harder and quicker than usual(with previous pieces anyway). Maybe I'll try to produce a brief post/explanation of why I feel so in the days to come?

That's what I use too. A rubber cork kit was a great purchase also. It's easy to fill and let soak , shake, soak etc.
Me also, but I've never corked off tho... good idea! If I wanna shake extremely hard without making a mess I typically just plug any open ends with paper towels and my hands for the shake. But you have given me some ideas to make my life a lil more simple in the future in this department!

Wassup! Greetings? my fellow pHam-a-lama-ding-dongs!

Figured I'm gonna try my hand at something new tonight...

Was pruning and repotting some aloe vera recently. In my attempt to reduce waste and put everything to use, I held on to some of the cuttings...

First time ever, gonna attempt to root these here aloe vera leaflets. They look a bit rough and I could easily just toss them in the recycle pile, but I figured 'what the hell! Let's see if we can produce more plants from what would be "waste"/compost!

From what I understand, it's quite difficult to do, but I'm up for the try/challenge. Anyone ever tried/done this before? Any and all tips are welcomed and encouraged, thanks! ?

Quick update on the vagging babies?

Everyone is making an adorable turn around from last update/transplant?
IMG_20230318_175503962.jpg
Started topping them earlier this week as each plant was working on their 5th-6th nodes. One a day, size/stature dependent...

...starting with...

BubblebOOty #1 @BlueCollarBeans on the bottom right. Followed by ItalianCookies #1 @DinoPartyChuckingCo on top right. Followed by SlymerSnacks #1 @FireLakeSeeds, top middle. Then StarberryCreamSizzle #1 @Brisco'sBargainBeans on the top left.

Tonight, the StarberryCreamSizzle #2, bottom middle will get hers too! Then, tomorrow night or the next, the bottom left, SlymerSnacks #2 will follow.

Started some IPM tonight also, Sulfur bath and drench...

There were a couple other late starters in here that just got their new shoes tonight that I'll update on later when their slightly more presentable ?

I'd get the hole done first with a pencil then dip in aloe juice up and pop in and press gently around. World's last hope and a few others do it on ig. Looks pretty straight forward. Not sure on time for roots to take though. Good luck I'll be watching.

I've only propagated from offsets.
Definitely think it's a good idea to let the cut part scab over for a few days.

Might look into burying a whole, raw egg into your soil that they ultimately get planted in. Some of the cactus peeps claim as the egg breaks down, it throws off gasses that promote rooting.

I'll have to check his page, thanks!

Me also, only from offsets in the past. I am aware of the scabbing over thing, and they are. Was not aware of the egg thing for rooting cacti, but will look into it.

I still have more research to do. Thanks for the input fellas!

Looking good bro!

god enchiladas sound soo good right now lol ?
Thanks brotha! They were bomb too, hit the spot!! I've been on an itch lately recreating a bunch of stuff my mom made for us as kids that I grew up on...

Simple shit too, but it's still so damn good and super affordable (which is getting more appealing by the day, especially here in Cali)... enchiladas we (daughter 'n I) still typically make like once a month, but been doing more rice (both Spanish and Mexican styles) lately... Beans, just finished the second pot for this month, haven't had any homemade beans in who knows how long before this.

Just made a pot of Pasole(my family is from New Mexico, this is how we've always spelled it)/Pazole ... Mom only makes it once a year anymore, and just for Christmas, so we're nom-nom'n over here like it's Christmas in March?
