For cloning, I took a tip from @Schwaggy P and started adding a few drops of bleach to the solution I soak my plugs in. You know how bad I struggled with cloning and now I’m at 95%+ success rate
Noted...? You've been crushing keeping lines/clones alive..

Got another clone upped..

StarBerryCream#1 @Amos Otis

... From a few days ago, wrote this up and forgot to hit post?...

I've been taking everything out the tent and flushing the seed-plant ladies in the tub over the course of the week, and closely monitoring the parameters in the tent. Things aren't looking all too shabby anymore. No pics yet, but I'll post some up soon?

Just saw the Useful thread and man we sure lost a good one ?RIP?

Just realized I haven't updated in over a week...whoopsies!! Your roller coaster has arrived! ? Hold on tight cause iz gone be a bumpy ride!! Operation: Clone Wars has fully commenced and is underway ?

And, to start is off...

StarberryCreamsizzles #1 & #2 original seed plants still looking like peepee-cacas?
IMG_20230509_140612590.jpg
All junky n stuff. New growth is green, but they've been stunted and are growing extremely slowly...my whole tent, not just these?
Stash is getting low so I'm over waiting around already. Taking too long to bounce back and I have rooted clones of each that I just uppotted. These are going in the recycle pile for future runs. Sooo....

Finally got a BubblebOOty #1 @BlueCollarBeans clone to root and uppotted the other night.
IMG_20230509_212753883.jpg

The newest addition to the clone takeover... Little cutie pie!

Kinda embarrassed to post this one but it is my current situation, it is what it is, so whateva!
IMG_20230509_212851714.jpg
It looks horrible and embarrassing, I know, but at least I'm making progress with the clones?

Speaking of such...Shuffling around is in progress, as shown above. Replacing every plant with it's cloned counterpart is the goal. So far there are fresh:

SlymerSnacks #s 1&2, StarberryCreamsizzle #s 1&2, and a BubblebOOty #1. There was a couple strains that I couldn't get to root on the first attempt. But I am currently waiting to see something in the second attempt and I think I'm gonna for for a third... Otherwise I might be forced to put those ones on the sidelines for a bit til I can nurse them back properly but I still need get the show on the road and flip this tent asap. Until then I'll be smoking on nuggies of some of this here AlienOG S1?

I'll update more when I've got something to show ?

Looks pretty frail thus far, but stem rub is promising, and I have high hopes she'll turn out ok!

BubblebOOty#2 too!

This SlymerSnacks#1 has been my most reliable grower and cloner so far in this entire grow thus far... Really looking forward to the smoke! Cause I want it all!!

Those AOG girls are some serious rooters inn the pot, how does she clone?
Very well in my experience? The original clone only at least, as I didn't attempt to clone that S1 I ran that I can recall... Which I really should have cause I liked the live plant and enjoyed the smells and smoke of the S1 better than the original...I still have a lil bit of both left and still prefer the S1. But in any event, the original cloned very well, and very reliably, so if you're getting serious rooters with yours from seed, I'd say they should clone pretty well also?

But I did do something last night....

A few of you guys have gotten some if those wet recently...and it's always fun to do a grow along!! So I got some wet too, to run alongside with you guys...I just checked and I've got a tail or two showing already. I'll be posting updates on those soon too!?

Those look fine and dandy! Cloning is always so finnicky for me. I got my last round to root at 100% but then they took like another two weeks of looking like total shit in the solo cup to actually start doing something. Great work!

Moved all the junkies out the tent. Rearranged things. Have a couple more that rooted for me that will join later on. But, we got a new moon this weekend and daddy needs some fresh flowah!! So I'm flipping to 12/12 tonight.

Looking forward to following along Mo and thanks for the response.
I am going to keep this one around for a run or 2 she smells very nice indeed.
Sweet! Hope she puts or the goods for ya too?

Yes she sure is! Thanks. I hope I can keep em all happy to the finish line?if not, this one clones extremely reliably, and I have plenty backups?

Thanks brotha! Cloning is pretty finicky for a bit of us it seems...I tend to chock it up to, at least for me, to getting a bit too complacent in my ability to grow 'good', so I forget simple/basic steps at times that make or break the attempt..idk... Some strains/phenos just perform/grow/clone better than others, given a particular environment...I don't need to explain these things to you, so I don't know why I'm even trying... I'm high???

3 for 3 in the AOG S1 pop!

Moving along nicely.

Got some more roots on SlymerSnacks #s 1&2
IMG_20230523_191432677.jpg

On the BubblebOOty, the #2 has been the only one to root for me, #s 1&3 I haven't had any luck. Plus the #1 was getting a lil behind and getting a lil lanky so I pulled it to the side to take more cuttings for the third attempt and to let her bush out a bit more before we go full flower with her.
IMG_20230524_182020615.jpg
She been growing lanky and stanky like and OG with hollow stems. Gut's telling me it should be some pretty narcotic stuff, so I wanna do her proper. I'll reintroduce her to flower here soon. The #3 seed plant never rooted and I she's already been given to the work homie as has #2, but I have several of that rooted and they'll be joining the show a lil later on. But hopefully 3rd times a charm with this one here?

Wassup gang!?

Welp, I just lost one of the AlienOG S1 babies today...the baby one, in post above, that coty's were still stuck in shell (middle one). I think I just blasted it too hard and over saturated the cup when it got solo'd up and it just didn't have the strength to recover afterwards...I had fingers crossed that she'd bounce back... But, found her completely croaked over today after work, beyond return?

Me being curious to investigate further tho? I pulled out my trusty USB cam to scan the soil for pests. Not much, but I did find/spot some movement...

...I took a video too, but I'm not sure how to post those here successfully, as I've tried once or twice in the past with no luck?so I'll skip that for now...

I'm no bug/insect expert by any means, but in any event, to me eyes, the way it looks and after observing the way it moves about, I'm thinking and am pretty darn certain it's a beneficial! But I tried searching a bit and and am still not completely certain. So I could use some help from you find folks identifying this thing...por favor y gracias!!

With that said, and upon first discovery/glance, my PTSD instantly kicked in and thought "Fuck, NO!...Root aphid bastards are back, and with a vengeance!" Killing my babies n shit, ya know... But those were more transparent (soft-boiled) in appearance and didn't move around/work the soil in the same manner as I remember them suckers if coccyx sucking assholes!?Whoosah n goose-frraba m'fer...ohmmm..

But, I did just check Arbico's website and this thing looks very much like a couple mite predators they have listed on the site. So that gives me some hope... But I could still use some consolidating confirmation from my trusted growing peeps?

Lil tent update...

I'm still not entirely sure how/why those seed plants from previous posts took such a bad turn earlier in the grow...

Shit this grow was supposed to be harvested before the brink of summer's heat, and summer's on the f'n doorstep as we speak and I only flipped the lights, what...10 days ago... I'm gonna be in the dog heat of the summer when they're ready, which is unfortunate...

But, tent's doing much better currently, and I'll do my best to keep it that way?

This pic was actually taken this past Tuesday, just forgot to post that night...

We'll go from right to left on this one...

Far right is StarberryCreamsizzle #1 @Brisco'sBargainBeans

Middle is SlymerSnacks #1 @FireLakeSeeds

Bottom left is StarberryCreamsizzle #2

Top left is SlymerSnacks #2

I have more updates and pics from tonight's walk through and observations, but they're in the other phone, so I'll have to post those up in the next one?

Okay confirmed bug id!

Hello,

I have confirmation that this is a Box mite (Oribatid mite). They rarely eat plants. They are decomposers. They enjoy fungi, moss, algae, and decomposing matter. If the soil is very rich and very wet they would be attracted to it for sure.

I hope this is helpful.
Thank you,

Sweet! Thanks for doing that!!?

Box mite ? that's a new one to me...which isn't saying much! The soil may have been a bit hot(rich), always has fungi and decomposing matter, and I definitely did accidently have that cup over saturated. So it all falls in line for me?

Careful kid, you'll poke your eye out!

Seed plant went to compost bin a couple nights ago... Cuts will follow as I stumble upon them. Unfortunate but not the end of the world. The #1 has a much stronger stem rub plus clones much easier for me, so I'm at terms with the loss?

Speaking of the #1, she's still going strong and all woman on this one!
