Do you home brewers brew old school into bottles with the Xmas tree drying rack etc or into kegs. I've gotta get back into it. I started off into old school then moved to 23lt kegs CO2 system
Kegs were easier to clean fill and drink and no extra cost for bottle lids and lid pressing. Gee that was fun lol
Bottle conditioning is pointless with how readily available corny kegs are imo apart from sours/brett. beers that need to develop some. Plus with bottling vs kegging on the homebrew side means 48 chances of infection vs one, you can do closed transfers with kegs, ferment under pressure, etc etc etc

I really want to try my hand at home brewing but I don't have the time or space at the moment. I tried it once as a teenager... we put a bunch of weed in the beer cause we were idiots. It gave everyone the shits ??

I'm a large consumer of craft beers... used to drink a lot of DIPAs but these days I find my sweet spot is the 5-7% ABV pale ales. Also getting into lagers more. Big fan of all the Zwicklelagers that have been popping up.

Treehouse, Great Rhythm, Bissell Bros and Zero Gravity are some favorite breweries.

Also, as mentioned, hard to go wrong with a Sierra Nevada. Both the Pale Ale and Torpedo are just so reliable.

Recently tried a few from these guys. Good but all their beers kind of taste the same lol. This one was the standout, but of course it's a rotating hop series so it will taste completely different next time lol
Is there anywhere local that has Bissell? I love treehouse but don’t love the ride out and back. They have a sweet setup though, so now that things are open again I can stay and hang...make the drive home more exciting ?

Unfortunately no, Bissell is another one that you have to go to the brewery to get it still. But they also have a dope setup, and usually a couple good food trucks out front. The lobster roll one is dank AF.

And yeah, the ride to Treehouse sucks. I have a buddy who goes down there for work a lot though and just brings back flats so I just steal his beers lol

I brought that Flying Dog "Raging Bitch" home once, and the now ex wife said "Did you buy that because of me?", and me being me said "Yep, sure did." As I looked at her straight faced. Lmfao.
It took years for me to learn I'd brought the Raging Bitch home long before they made a beer with that same name. ???????

I used to drink a ton of Resin! Great beer! Not advised for canoe trips in hot weather though...

The best on New England style IPA in Ontario
I want to try all of these! I'm shocked Wicked Awesome isn't from my neck of the woods... thought we were the only ones who used Wicked in that context lol
