Same motivations as any unqualified naysayer. I tried one brands version of it, one time, and I didn't like it.

I'll have to give that go ! I do enjoy those as it is but just haven't had that one.
I should clarify that all Beer being Wheat Beer was a play on how it's basically liquid Bread like Whiskey though I do understand not every Beer has to use Wheat as we have other cereal grains to use as well.
I don't personally have a "favorite" as at the end of the day, being German and Irish, my favorite Beer is a full one LOL. Though I do have my "I despise this shit" list that I don't like, but of course will still drink haha.

Saw this today in the gas station and grabbed it to try it out.
Smell is like citrus, pine, and maybe tropical fruit? Taste is really similar after the bitters clear a bit, but I'm now tasting some type of Melon. Musk Melon I think. The pine and citrus are there, but totally that after Taste of what I think is Musk Melon.
Pretty good I have to say. Over 8% ABV and I'm stoned too so I'm calling it a night lol, but totally a good beer.
Stopped by the local bottle shop yesterday and spotted this gem that made me think of you @Gentlemancorpse .

After 16 long months resting in Blis Maple Syrup barrels and Templeton Rye Whiskey barrels, Corpse Awakening is here! An imperial stout with added coconut and Ground Control Litchfield barrel aged coffee...this beer exudes so much decadence that it'll wake up the most stubborn of dead!
Didn't purchase, but have been thinking about it on the next trip.

Not sure that was a while ago. But, I will say that IPAs were originally invented so that a beer would have a decent shelf life and make it to India from England.
Yeah, Id basically be obligated to give that a try lol. Sounds potent! Something tells me the ABV is double digits haha

Thats why they aged it in maple syrup barrels right? Goes good with pancakes
