I have used several different nutrient lines over the years, including Advanced Nutrients, MegaCrop, and Botanicaire.

I got into Megacrop at the end of 2019 but they are constantly tweaking the formula, making it pretty difficult to get dialed in. After enough frustration, I jumped over to Athena Ag's blended line and I am very happy thus far. At this point, I have only finished one tent, but coming up on another harvest with significant improvements over MC. The flowers I have harvested so far burn clean, smooth, and taste great. The pH is incredibly stable, and I have not seen any major issues yet just following their feed schedule.

They also make a powdered formula for ppl who prefer dry amendments.

With the Roots Terp Tea, Veg I just topdress every 7-10 days. Increasing from 1/4 c to 1 PT GLASS as they gain size. I start blending the grow /bloom as flower starts phasing out the grow over the first three weeks. I stop topdressing at wk 5 and just water from there.

thanks for the infor when you topdress do you water 1st THEN top-dress understand thats the way to do it . I always did it backwards (water then topdress) but top dressing after you water does make sense (You know you can go tio their site and order 2 bottles of nutrients or 3 packs of dry teas for $8.89)

Have used lots in the past; earth juice, Ggold, plant prod, GH Flora 3 part, GH Duo 2 part, GH floranova, Canna, High Output Garden (H.O.G), Green planet, Megacrop, Botanicare pbp and both bloom versions, and currently using Dyna gro foliage pro, Bloom and mag pro. I know there are other im forgetting also. Used a few products from H&G..
Never have use Advanced anything except voodoo juice once. Waste of money that was.

I use the Foliage Pro in soil from veg through harvest

I've been using it for years in soil and hydro. I haven't needed to add any CalMag in my RO in hydro, the Dyna-Gro is pretty complete. I don't grow in coco so I can't rely on experience to advise here but I've read successes with these nutes without CalMag.
Agree, Im using dyna gro currently with lakewater that is close to RO, no Ca issues. It has plenty of Ca I find.

The best, well that's highly debatable among growers! Cutting edge and General Hydroponics are my choices even though I have ran just about everything having been a Hydroponics Tech and Store Manager. Those reps will give samples galore except for Big Mikes brew (Advanced Nutrient).

Something I've learned in the long run is that switching up nutrient products/brands throughout a grow can be very beneficial as each has its own nutrient profile. An example would be if I'm running Jacks 321, I'll switch back and forth with Mendocino Hydro to take advantage between the two formulas finding better results then running Solo with each.

In the end what's best is what you find that fits your time allowance & budget and general needs. There's some dry products I'd never run in DWC or on Tables with Slabs and there's liquids I'd never use with soiless.

after a while the plant will tell you want it needs/wants . will take a look at cutting edge generally don't switch base stuff but I do add to it thru grow (veg/flower)

They will be finalized in a week or so and I will reveal them on G's Trees.
G's Tree ? Got a few "sample packs" of nutrients --- Lotus Premimun plant nutrients, Elemental Nutrients and Neptune's Harvest ---- the samples ran from $5.00 to $10.00 (free shipping) they give you enought nutrients for at least 1 year + (each sample)

Is anyone using the Megacrop 2 part stuff? The same ratio as Jacks Hydro one.
Yes !! have use that product some time ago -- get the veg and the bloom - have used with good results (very easy) can also get serious and get the P/K booster. anbout amounts - would just to be safe use 1/2 amonts and then go from there (but I see not issues with them) Mega Crop is a solid nutruent

Mega crop one part with the kelp, cal mag, and sweet (their version). Organishield for the bugs, trifecta crop control as a backup. I have no bugs or any problems. I have never been at one with my setup like right now. Dig it
