Im looking to buy a good but affordable vaporizer. Im not talking about those little shit piles for flavored juices, I mean a real vaporizer like the "Volcano" or something along those lines.
I'd like mine to have a digital temp readout as well. What should I get and how much is it?

I made the purchase. After loading both the E-Nano and Da Buddha into carts and applying coupon codes/tallying taxes/shipping etc....Da Buddha came out on top at $171 delivered to my door. The E-Nano after all said n done went from $190 to $217 after taxes and shipping.
Da Buddha for the win!

Solid purchase that will last a long time( simple design with not a lot to go wrong). It is also something you can build on. You can purchase a custom glass knob for the temp dial. If you go to buy a spare wand you can use the normal size silver surfer wand. It is a little bigger and feels better in the hand. They sell the whip hose in a bunch of different colors. Any color is better than the clear they send with the unit. No difference other than seeing how quickly the hose gets coated in rosin or whatever it is:D. You can also buy a spare glass heater cover so you can just swap it out when cleaning.

I guess it also comes with an essential oil warmer tray that can be can be used simultaniously while actually using the unit? (pretty much an air freshener)
My wife should like that lol
I like the ease of ordering & the prices associated with the add ons and replacement parts too. Seems like a solid buy and was well within my price range.

YES i forgot that accessory. I use wax melts in mine . Hell i think they may have a dab accessory for it now. Also the heat source is a small ceramic rod and i leave mine one all day and sometimes all night if i forget to turn it off. I don't think it draws much juice and is obviously very safe

Very cool. Good choice. I had my eye on that very unit for quite awhile but already had the analog Volcano. The solid valve upgrade on the Volcano has sure been worthwhile but still have those bags.....

Im pretty sure I read that they have had one in testing thats been on for over 10 years. I understand that that sort of use is the easiest form of use (like a lightbulb that never gets turned off will last for yrs), but that still says something about the quality of the coil.

Got my "Da Buddha Vaporizer" in yesterday (4/21).
Comes with everything needed to use right from the very nicely padded travel bag it all comes in.
Even came with a pack of screens with one loaded ready to go.
Though I thought I read it included an oil warmer, it didnt come with anything for that use. I may check the website and order that if it is a paid accessory.

***There is definitely a learning curve associated with using this thing. I tried using it about midway between 1/2 & 3/4 and I about lost a lung from the massive cough attack that followed. I dialed it back to 1/2 and it wasnt giving anything at all hardly. Bumped it up a few more times to where it is shown in the pic for the ultimate vaping experience!

Smooth, long light draw at a lower temp has me tasting things I never knew were there in the same weed I've been smokin for months. This thing rocks!!
After learning how to use it correctly and figuring out my sweet spot (about 3 fills), I can say I highly recommend this unit -and most certainly at the price I paid.
The only thing I think could be improved upon would be the sensitivity of the power dial. The band on it narrows the further you get (plus or minus) of the midrange point. Gets pretty touchy about half way on making it harder to dial in. Aside from that, once you find that sweet spot, this thing is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
Many thanks for the recommendation on this unit @Capt. C & @spyralout :passjbuds:

My lungs must be in bad shape i run my knob at a hair under half way :ROFLMAO: . Yes the oil diffuse is extra 20 bucks i believe. You will want to check into some glass joint lube. I use a product called Smooth Slide. I dont have a link but just google it. Also you can use your whip and wand to suck the ground flower from wherever and just tap the exec off if you get to much in there. Only took about a year to figure out that tip:ROFLMAO: About 3/4 of a wand seems to work best. Also best to stir the material every couple of hits. I use a eyeglass screw driver. Nothing better than the first hit of the wand each load. One other thing if your material is dark colored your temp is to high.

Right on. Once I got it dialed in, the spent material looks brown like tobacco with no combustion or darkness. That first cpl hits.....not so much haha. Im tellin ya, I thought I was gonna die haha. The weed was scorched and it was like a straight bong hit from an old school steamroller bong....
Shes smooth as silk now. I just blazed up some Monkey Juice and it was a whole new flavor experience.
Next one to get vaped is the Orange Julius ?
Im down to my last bud and I've been saving it for this!

I had posted this on another forum before pH, figured it was a good spot to show this for reference :) We got it back around the December holiday season. Keep in mind this was a "cosmetic second," which also meant no choice in unit or bag color.

Da-Buddha-Vaporizer-1.jpg
Package contents:
- Vaporizer Unit
- Heavy duty padded hemp bag
- Ground glass whip kit (stem, mouthpiece, screens, hose, poker)
- Power cable

Da-Buddha-Vaporizer-2.jpg
We checked everything, and could only find this "blemish." Sits straight, no wobbling, no folded rolling paper pack shims necessary. No other scratches, gouges, or anything, anywhere. If anyone's ever submitted an iPhone to the Apple Genius Bar for repair, they'll know about that infamous "checklist." It has everything you can imagine to indicate and rate the condition of the phone, from minor scratches, knicks, gouges, the severity, location, etc. This particular Da Buddha Vaporizer unit would have ranked "Minor" on that one thing and "Like New" on everything else. If anything, it's a testament to the company's high quality standards.

Solid built unit. Easy to clean, low maintenance. Excellent value for a high quality piece.

I have purchased quite a few over the years looking for the favorite. The Da Buddha earned the right to sit on the desk permanently. The only thing a little touchy about this unit is cleaning the heater cover. The glass heater cover has 1-2 small medal shims to keep it tight. When you go to clean it just pull strait up on the cover and it will pop out. Soak in alcohol till clean. Make sure the shims look like they did when you removed them and put a touch of dish washing Dabuddha 001.JPG liquid to help push back down in place.

So question on this.... how long does it take to heat up? I forget who mentioned it but you leave it on all day?

Right?
Yes i leave mine on all day and night if i forget. It does take a few minuets to warm up . The ceramic heating rod heats fast but it takes the glass a few minuets to warm up. If you are in a hurry you can turn it up full blast for a minuet or so then back off to your normal setting. Nothing quite like the first hit you can really taste the terpenes. I think the only thing that gives you that good taste past the first hit is rosin but that is hard on my lungs. If you guys noticed i am running a silver surfer wand in the Da buddha just a little bigger and feels better in your hand. I am telling you this because it is nice to have spares of wand, hose, heater cover. Drop it all in soapy water and put the spares on the unit and bam ready for service. One other very cool deal is you can hook that whip to a water pipe for a very pleasant vape.

you're gonna put weed oil in the diffuser anyway so whoever walks in gets instantaneously high lol. Ditch the wand altogether and just perpetually hotbox vape your house lmao
Lol, nah, it'd really be used as a diffuser, at least that part would. ???
That way when my daughter asks what it is I can say aromatherapy. Lmfao.

I do what @Capt. C says and crank it all the way up to bring the ceramic heater to a nice glow, then back it down to my preferred setting. Gotta get that glass hot too along with the ceramic coil. I unplug mine, but I can honestly see leaving this thing on all day if I wanted to. Im putting in the order for the glass oil tray today. @JL2G Without the whip attached, youd honestly think it was just a scented oil warmer. Makes zero noise and probably uses virtually nothing for power consumption. Unlike a bong, the only thing that holds a "weed" smell after you are done using it is the whip. Put that back in the bag, and your daughter will be none the wiser about its real intended use. This thing is awesome. Seriously, if you are on the fence about purchasing this, GET IT. I have zero buyers remorse with this one. Lots of bang for the buck with this unit.
