Im looking to buy a good but affordable vaporizer. Im not talking about those little shit piles for flavored juices, I mean a real vaporizer like the "Volcano" or something along those lines.
I'd like mine to have a digital temp readout as well. What should I get and how much is it?

When I was still using the solo I went back and forth on using screens for a while until I settled on going without them. I used them when I was buying grass so I could get the most out of it by making hot coco with the reclaim and it wouldn't be full of Scooby snacks. When I started growing I quit using them since I didn't need to stretch my stash by using the reclaim.

I got my mighty yesterday. I have found the vape that can replace a doob. The price was what made me say no for so long but after using the Volcano...and people that have them love them.

I see why. MASSIVE clouds and easy to get a draw. The cooling chamber must work because the vapor is much cooler than when you hit an air or solo at the same temp.

It heats up in less time than rolling a blunt too. Holds 1/3 of a gram.

I packed the last half pack of raw papers away for emergencies..i am going to use the mighty from now on. it works really good.

It is worth the money and i think its tax deductible. Fuzzy math says YES !

195C for the win...FANTASTIC

Well it sure aint the PAX. oh well, i think the best thing I purchased with it was the knowledge that vaping just aint for me. PAX 3 has some good flavors coming out of it, but i feel like I have to baby that thing and sip it like a sensitive straw.

I'm a bong rip/joint kinda person.

but those flavors...

hm....maybe I'm not decided yet after all....

sorry this was no help was it.

You found a mighty for $195? Or did I misread? That's a fantastic deal.
It's cool to hear a review from someone who has used the Arizer products as well, and can compare them.

I have an Air, Extreme Q, a Launch Box, and a couple Dynavaps. I use them all but the MFLB. The Air(v1) and the Dynavaps get the most use by far but I still combust more than vape. It's as much convenience as anything else. I actually prefer the taste and effect from the vapes but the on-demand factor of a loaded up bong at my elbow usually wins out.

The dynavap hits hard, and with an aftermarket stem or through water it isn't overly hot, but heating it is a bit of a PITA. People that use induction heaters rave about them, so maybe I'll try that.

Congrats again on your score. (y)

Mighty gets the vote from me. Original or knockoff don't matter much. If you get a knockoff, just get some extra mouthpiece as those are the only weak link in a knockoff Mighty. Although I believe there are also some really bad knockoffs so I avoid those so cheap they don't make sense.

Nothing I've tried so far beats Mighty or Volcano if desktop. I've only tried a dozen or two if you consider all types of vaporizers.

I own a Storz and Bickel "Mighty", an Arizer Solo 2, an a Boundless Tera V3. Also an XMAXX "Starry:, that was my first vaporizer.

I use the Mighty and Solo 2 by far, the most.

As far as "bang for ur buck"? I'd give it to Arizer Solo 2. Still an all glass pathway, every terp is tasted at 390 Fahrenheit or less,,,,convection not pure conductive heat. The Mighty has 7 heating elements but it wont burn up ur weed in between inhales either, both of these vapes wait on you. Convective heat. Both are built well, and quality is apparent.

yupppp Its nice once you get it dialed in. The temps are very different when comparing side by side with the volcano digital... But once I found a sweet spot the balloons are always a hit when family is over.. I actually wound up buying straight from Arizer full price and got a bunch of freebies... I am pretty happy even though I dont use it as much as I should...

dude you gotta get the ddave bowl mod, way better than stock

we just use reynolds oven turkey bags

Can anyone who has used either both the Air and Air 2, or both the Solo and the Solo 2 speak to the significance of the upgrades?

I know about the digital interfaces and that you can now set an actual temperature as opposed to choosing from pre-sets but I'm mostly interested in the upgrades to draw resistance. My Air has been very good to me for 4 or 5 years, but I would like to find something that draws more easily.

I'm also looking at the Boundless CFX. It's an S and B knockoff, I think(? not really educated on that costy stuff ;) ) that looks pretty decent. It's on sale for $175 Cad right now at vape north. Anybody have any experience with this one?

Vote here for the mighty as well. I'd say 4+ years maybe? I don't know, a long time for sure and not a single issue. Not one. So what ever that's worth.

No doubt, the Mighty is capable of mighty fekkin rips.......The Arizer Solo 2 is for flava flav freaks like myself. I like the tasty terps more then most ppl, was spoiled most of my life. Had a huge connection for decades, a warehouse full of various strains in kilos (and graded, and priced accordingly)/

"Buzzy" was a Coptic Church member in the late 80's........that "religious" group had the legal right to import weed........it came in to Florida coasts but Buzzy handled the northeast of the USA. I miss that dude and his wife, super cool ppl.

I’ve been using the Storz n Bickel Plenty for the past few years. It works great with big clouds everytime. I’ve never had an issue with it. It is a plug in, I picked up for vacations, hotels etc. I think I’m going to pick up the Crafty + to have something stealthy while hiking and outdoors with the fam.

I have had the crafty for almost 10 years while i always liked it i recently bought a new Arizer solo ll. I prefer the solo in so many ways. I think a better comparison to the solo would be the Mighty. But i believe the Mighty is more expensive. Stortz & Bickle has excellent service if needed. I can tell you how to NOT operate the Solo ll. I took it with me the other day in the truck while running a short trip and picked it up by the glass straw big mistake. Not only did i have a lap full of ABV material. Then for what ever reason i grabbed the hot end of the straw  :ROFLMAO:
