Gosh i thought i was losong my marbles with how many doubles i had but I knew from past it was best choice if I’m doing pheno hunting…honestly i prolly should of kept more and not killed alot of those doubles.. hey at least i got these for any males or hermies show up. I know previous rounds I woild have spaces in my beds or 4x8 cause of the males and hermies. Ain’t fucking around!

After a nice discussion with @SSGrower and a good advise for the journal logging for future ref and imo if u do a grow journal… log everything cause it’s def easy to forget but also helps others know the cycle, I get busy and I try to log everything. shoot if my ocd forgets I can’t blame many to do it. Still a rule lol

What are the runty plants?= majority was plants that were ethier mutants and the super small plant of the packs of seeds I grew. U like many growers I gave all that survived germination a fair trial . but if I see these plants once transplanted and 2nd week of flower a good judgment call. to replace or keep? Many I def said kill and replace with a double and make it so I don’t disprupt the medium during this stage by putting them in via 3-7 gal pots ontop of the bed.


* “R” = runty/shitty plant = why kill the runts/crappy plants? I have tried multi times by leaving them but the loss of sqft of a good plant is not worth it. Ts also obvious that plant exp if it’s only 6-12 inches and looking sickly , will it ever be a good or keeper?I very much doubt it and my growing style doesn’t promote bending over for wimpy plants. I know growers who do that and have sucess with wimpy plants that people love the smoke, but today we can pick and choose much easier and I would prefer medium-high yields and hitting check marks and easy to grow vs runty/plants.

also the runty /shitty plants i noitced even if in separate container don’t intake as much and that’s another reason if they act this way and in same bed with high intakers and u make ur watering high amounts and they are also being over watered. My guess being they were soo shaded , no airflow, too much watering and also being out competed , makes sense why u got same strain 4+ feet vs a 6 inch always runty plant that looks sick = the champ is like a muscle builder with energy boosters and the slacker is chilling and a slacker with no ppfe supports? I’m sure if had em not in same bed and babied it and not over water a lot of em would have produced something? But is it worth it? mu answer is no but my next trial the mutant/smalls stay out of the bed next time… crazy how they were all same size but they def got outcompeted to death

another note, i trialed diff numbers of plants in the 10 gal beds and wanted to see what changes, I did 2 plants per bed and up to 6? I know after looking at the planfs and majority of beds all had same size originally but the end result shows me if u go beyond 2-3, the pheno’s really will out compete and slatter the weak. So next rounds I’m not gonnea transplant beyond 2 and leave the rest in pots to replace like I am now. One positive thing was me doing so many pheno’s was 5 beds had over 50% males! it was def good I had 4 in those ?



* I applied way too much of my lollipoping method it’s leafs ontop of my medium and didn’t even shred it . if I would of shredded it and made the topping of it better it so would of worked better but also dry leafs I was used to? Also I applied many diff organic material and didn’t layer it as good as I could, its a jungle lol . i than assumed planfs needed same amount of water they did before this at every via 24 drenches. The factor was with the leafs and organic material it really made the watering timing 2-3 days at least when I first applied lesfs and before it breaks down. on my yellow traps after a week of doing this I noitced a spike of FG on my traps, I knew the issue so I removed a lot of leafs and scratched my medium surfaces to allow better surface penetration. i than knew adult FG was here so I made a tea of neem seed at 8 cups for 50 gal wat and let it bubble for 48hrs and added 50ml of BTI for the larvae Of FG. I also layed yellow traps on the medium to catch as many adults I could . So far I def reduced the populations by 75%+

i reduced my watering from 24hrs after realizing my mistakes to 3-4 days the first two times and let the plants get real dry, than it went to 2 days and now back to 1 days in less than a week. sooo glad I fixed that issue!


my drench tea feeding is based on weekly meaning one time a week, rest of time is just a few non npk additional and just water . I then apply every 2-3 weeks my dry amendments . if someone asks why not just add the dry amendments monthly or season and be good? Well if u see the list of what I’m applying and you tried to apply all them for cycle it would be a mountain of fertilizer ontop and not work correctly. I’ve tried monthly vs every 2 weeks and it’s def nicer the 2 weeks version and seems to not have any issues. I also stop dry amend applications after 4-5th weeks because I don’t want any contaminates getting in my buds, this is also why you’ll see my plants I butcher the bottoms ( many reasons ). After 4-5th week I do 1-2 teas per week and plants seems to love that and no diff exp if preamended alive medium.

* yesterday noticed I def light stressed em a little but I can correct this fosure= even thou under 50% & running co2 and highest height suggestion I still got many pheno’s pissy so take caution on led’s and exp if it’s ur first trial with plants cause it’s def better to watch and go lower dim than max. Very few want that 100% since my plants flipped the tallest many have been also growing at a rate of 3-4 inches a day! I was raising the led’s 6+ inches every day but made a mistake to slack and think it would be okay and within that next day I saw plants look pissed ( first foot of plants top cause of too much heat/ppfd) , so I raised the led’s even higher and knowing it’s 14th day we only got a week max before stretch is done and many should stop none the less. I also lowered dim % to 35-40% power to let them recover for a day, cause u know in nature they have 12/12 high ppfd everyday lol

plan is this week I’m gonnea trellis all the large beds , hermie/ipm scan daily and get these fans installed.I got a board installed on the wall but man they made this fan a lil hard to install and didn’t even include hardware to install? Says it doesn’t in manual .. cheap fucks lol

my dehumidifiers are intaking 25-50 gal total water everyday in which it saves me soo much r/o usage and if u don’t already know this, save ur deh and a/c water ! I even save my veg rooms and storage dehumidifiers water , shoot it’s under 50 ppm . Key is to make sure the water storage container is clean exp if u are not removing it daily

contacted Medicled about that uva bar issues and they replaced and delivered within 24hrs! they ain’t fucking around

* To guarantee success and to win battle with via FG , purchased today online Rove beetles (1,000) , Hypoaspis (Stratiolaelaps scimitus Womersley) aka medium based p mite @ 25,000 + Steinernema feltiae Beneficial Nematodes @50,000 & 100 more yellow traps

Along with Bti im already using i am def fighting the fg in a very positive manner, last time i did this it only took 3-5 days and i saw if major8th disappear off, I reapply yellow traps every week to see my pest pressure and if I’m not getting above 10 per trap I’m in a good zone.. . Running a very fungis dominate but also non airy medium is asking for fg but it xan be correct by ipm and following the rules, exp with not over watering.

Well fuck u fgnat, your gonnea have some buddies to eat u alive like a buffet

I really do try to make this informative but also from my experiences worth while intaking . I can tell ya that was hardest part for me when I first started was the lack of good information and mixture of tips but no reasons or explanations on the functions . for All the times exp when I was First starting out following peoples suggestions or googling stuff and man if I knew what I do now. Jesus theres some def wrong info and biggest suggestion is cross reference stuff but if u can ask, why? If they haven’t explained.
