Very interesting... And cool! Never seen anyone do it like this. I take it that it gives a final extra push for trich development? Have you ever done a side by side to see the difference? Or, have you just noticed it made a difference after trying the first time, or?? Sorry for all the questions. I've been interested in adding some type of uv bar or panel or something in my grow for a while now and this just peaked my interest again.
the uva and deep red pictures above was a picture shot before I turned them off, I didn’t leave em in while everything was off besides when I was taking the pictures . It looked cool cause you barely even notice the uva and deep red when all lights are on but Jesus they are bright by themselves
Being many fruit and veggies farmers they harvest at night so you are not degrading your end product, I Harvest after 1-3 days of darkness cause not only is it more time for the plant to produce but it’s not getting stressed from the environment , the higher ppfd and less electricity in total (if 3 days that’s 5% of the whole flower period )
light & unstable environment can cause degradation of your terps and overall quality just so Quickly, why not protect em while the end and save energy while doing so? its Good to know you have it in sync before you chop a super stable and non degrading area . ive tried it both ways (lights off at end and not) and since I’m trying to get most out of my product, why not eh
