Big questions??

Complete cannabinoid rookie here but diving into something that I really need too..Far as THC goes I have no problem letting that split my wig and blow my heels out..I'm going to be doing some crossing of high CBD strains and CBG strains as the arthritis and pain in me is getting overwhelming,more importantly found out today the wife has cancerous tumors on her ovaries..She plans to have them taken out ASAP.. Simpson oil is a must around here and I will be making it..So today I order my first high CBD strain (3 birds x Jamaican landrace male)...3 birds is( harlequin x AcDc x Charlottes web.)..all great CBD strains ..Also a few CBD crosses in the personal vault..Still looking for high CBG strains...May go with dutch passion CBG force... Question...anyone ever cross high CBD with high CBG strains together?? Can't find any info online about that..CBN can be created by aging regular buds for extended periods in less than quality curing conditions...I imagine breeding high CBG with high CBD would be like anything else...pheno hunt to find out which one had a good mix of the two...At that point without a lab how would one know.....Or even crossing high CBG/CBD with THC Dom plants...one would never know the ratio without lab work....Maybe I'm getting way over my head...I just need to make some meds and want to make the best ones I'm capable of making

Cannabigerol or CBG is more powerful than CBD and THC as it came before them.

that one line would hint to me that it’s found in many strains, harvested prior to that of our normal harvest window for THC/CBD
That would also explain why Chocolope was so “racy” when I harvested her early!
CBG is a picker upper….
some cannabinoids are precursors to others..
Maybe that’s where the window is?
I’m shooting in the dark, shy of having a lab as you say, but that line kinda turned a light on for me.

What little I've looked into crossing THC plants with CBD (hemp) gives you a high THC F1 then high CBD F2. I've found the best way to use both is to make caps or gummies from each and take them together or separately.

I'm growing Cherry Wine hemp with a reported 18% CBD and 0.5 THC so basically nil and it won't get you high. My wife is loving the CBD caps for sleep. She doesn't do THC, she melts. I even added some CBD coconut oil to a batch of THC brownies. They help me sleep.

I have no clue on the CBG strains but I think I'll look in to them as well?

I have CBD Tangie going in veg, supposed to be 15 to .1 ( no lab testing on my end as of yet, nor have I seen official test results from the vendor)
And CBD Sour Tangie in bloom (day 21) supposed to be 20:.1 , again no tests as of yet.
I grow the CBD strains for my SO too (fibro)..
I did that really shitty mistake of letting her have a hoot of some of my honey oil ( years ago), she greened out and hasn’t forgiven me… (I held her hair back for her and everything!)
Long story short, she doesn’t do the head buzz at all…
Cb-Dutch treat was too strong for her at 8% CBD/4%THC.
Weirdly enough, even I felt a slight tingle smoking it though.
The last plant of the Dutch gave me an easy qp, and as far as producers go… she’s a chunky one!
Unfortunately, I can’t put a tag on smell or taste, she is totally her own in those regards
best I can say is a plastersine party in a chlorinated pool..( I know, but it really is that hard to describe ) lol

I'm sorry your wife is having health issues bro . Sending positivity and hope?. I make RSO regularly, but I just use whatever I feel is sub par, popcorn buds and culls. I may order some CBD type of beans as a few of my peeps do not get high {bless their pointed little heads}. Good luck amigo, I hope you can find relief.

It helps a lot. Like for gut meds I grow some attrocious smelling strains...godbud...the nasty side. But 3 tokes and it sits in the tray while my constipation is relieved.

Its all about the TERPS....add some cbd and get the thc you like and you will have the beauty meds that pharma can not give you.

But that is, like my opinion, man

I can't help with the CBG as I'm just learning about it, but I've heard you can get CBD from Cannabis roots ? I haven't personally looked into this myself, but apparently boiling them can give you extra CBD. CBN is a lot easier to come by; just leave the plants flowering until the resin is mostly amber (or purple depending on genetics and conditions).
