Big questions??

I need to ask about high CBD low THC strains [ewww!] for my wife. She totally freaks if she gets high, I made her hash caps from a Bubblegum CBD strain which I grew especially for her. It turned out to be a full THC strain, she is really gun-shy now . My wife's Fibromyalgia is darn bad, I want to make her some new hash caps with something like a 20:1 CBD to THC ratio.
DCSE has a breeder named High Alpine Genetics who carries High CBD strains, Any Insight? I am open to options here!

I know exactly how ya feel!
It can take some searching for the right strain or mix of strains to come up with the right meds for her.
I refer “mix” to the equation due to a very serious factor.
with Fibro, her “conditions /symptoms “ are always changing, and not at all easy to target.
Widen the spectrums (Cannabinoids/Terpenes), better the chances of getting the right ones at the right times!
I’ve been mulling over it for some time too…
The things we do for love!…lol

Perhaps buy some flower from here and see if it's something that will make her feel more comfortable first?

I’m still working on your original post @HBZ farms … Don’t think I’ve let it slip by!
CBGa is the primary cannabinoid that in turn goes three ways.
It turns into THCa or CBDa <— they in turn turn to THC and CBD respectively but CBG can also be a stand alone from CBGa..

Sorry for the quick scribble, but it might help in my shabby explanation…lol

CBG is derived from young cannabis plants, which contain higher amounts of CBG than fully developed plants.

Some strains of cannabis, such as White CBG, Super Glue CBG, and Jack Frost CBG, also have higher CBG content than other strains. These strains are specifically cultivated to produce higher quantities of CBG.

Both CBD and THC start as CBGA, an acidic form of CBG. This is why younger cannabis plants contain higher concentrations of CBG.

In fully developed plants with high concentrations of THC and CBD, you’ll find very low concentrations of CBG. This happens because most of the CBG has already been converted to CBD and THC as the plant developed.

Due to the difficulty of getting CBG, cannabis growers have been experimenting with cross-breeding and genetic manipulation to help cannabis plants produce more CBG.

  • Bodily Effects: CBD and CBG activate receptors in different ways. For example, CBD has anti-nausea effects and binds to receptors as an activator, while CBG acts as a blocker or antagonist. Interestingly, when the two cannabinoids bind to the same place, they have opposing effects on each other, thus balancing one another out.

When CBD and CBG are taken together, they balance each other out. CBG works directly on the receptors while CBD stimulates the enzyme that produces the body’s natural endocannabinoids. Interestingly, when taken alone, people have reported that CBG causes them to feel drowsy, while CBD alone makes them feel energized. Therefore, it makes sense that, when taken in combination, CBD and CBG balance each other out

>>> I’ve read the opposite of the CBG vs CBD effects, I.e, CBG is the energy booster opposing CBD, and CBD helps people sleep better..
(So that’s why that line is in bold.☝?)
However, the entourage effect doesn’t change and you were bang on with crossing the two (CBG/CBD).
That same entourage effect holds true for THC as well from what I’ve been reading, it can intensify the effects. (Now is that prolonged duration of the high, or is it a higher high? )?

Linalool is supposed to be good for Lupus, and may affect that too. Just tossing this out there but here you can buy CBD weed at a head shop. No dispensary required.

Thanx mang, I hear ya, But I've reached a point where I no longer purchase any weed products. From anyone! I've bought from dispensaries, maybe 6 times in the last year. I am not interested in mediocre weed; it was a huge disappointment. Due to the fact it is nowhere near what any of us can and do grow, there is no benefit other than time saved, so I put my dispo money aside, and use it to buy high quality beans ;)

I know how you feel; the only time the Wife can drag my ass in one is in the following scenarios that rarely happen:

The UK Cheese pre-rolls I've talked about

GMO shake ounces for 75 dollars (I pulled 20 seeds from one and 10 from another ounce and haven't bought any as I popped a few and kept and cloned the most vigorous one lol)

That's pretty much it. And even the Cheese had almost no smell or taste being that it was likely quick dried shake lol.
