I shan't be attending, but man that flyer is fascinating...

Megan Thee Stallion is a bigger draw than Young Thug? Nelly is still alive?

Also I was like, yeah, Bonnaroo isn't usually my kind of music... Oh damn, RTJ is there?? Primus? Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats??? That last on is real random, and awesome. Like, no where else would you see a ticket with Lizzo and Uncle Acid on it.

Anyways, enjoy it man! Stoked to have live music coming back.

That randomness was the biggest draw to me, love about fifteen bands on there that I know I'd never get to see on one bill ever again. Caught RTJ in '14 in a tiny 300 cap club, can't wait to see them in a festival setting!

Jason Isbell is a bucketlist artist for me, Pinegrove too. I think Khruangbin fuckin' shreds, Uncle Acid is ?, basically I couldn't pass that opportunity up lol

Whelp, this year was fucking great. Weather was beautiful for the middle of Tennessee in June, no rain except for the very last night.

We got in on Wednesday afternoon, a nine hour drive. Security check was a breeze, shot the shit with the dudes "searching"and didn't even get looked at twice lol saw probably 30 acts over Thurs-Sun, every single one met or exceeded expectations.

Welsh 70s revival rock band CVC really set the tone for the whole thing Thursday afternoon, saw a bad ass Cubano afrofunk guy called Cimafunk Thursday night.

Friday was really fun, I saw Kingfish Ingram, Morgan Wade, Knocked Loose, Charley Crockett, and Portugal the Man and Shaq. Knocked Loose fucking ruled, but I'm a big fan anyway. Was fun to mosh with all the hippies lol Shaq was fun, just a prerecorded DJ set with him hyping the crowd up but it was pure fun.

Saturday was the best, we went all day, all night 8:30a-8:30a. Saw Devon Gilfillian, the Beths, Remi Wolf, Tyler Childers, Korn, and My Morning Jacket. Remi Wolf was so great, she's gonna be a star one day. Korn put on a fantastic show in a tent that only holds about 1000 people, it was packed tight and they seemed more motivated than ever to bring some energy. Impressive for a bunch of old men at 3am! 😂 My Morning Jacket also did a great one, a few cool covers, extended versions, different styles for songs, etc. STS9 shut it down by bringing in the dawn but I went to see Zeds Dead for a bit before getting toasty at the campsite to bring in the sun.

Sunday was a little lighter, we were burnt out by then lol saw Hermanos Gutierrez, Franz Ferdinand, the Revivalists, Peach Pit, the Pixies, Paramore, and the Foo Fighters. The fuckin Foo Fighters really stole the show; I'm not a fan at all of them on record but live they really brought it alive; long, extended songs, covers woven in and out throughout the songs. They played for probably three, three and a half hours to shut it down Sunday night.
