Brewing teas

I wanna try making some tea for the first time out of ewc and recharge. Can I do a waterfall with a circulation pump or do I need an airstream? Just put ewc in nylon stocking and recharge straight in?
My life experiences of compost teas is at the very least a love/hate scenario.
Nothing grows tastier flowers and nothing is as stinking messy as the cleanup as aerated teas!
A fountain will be messier than air stones.
I've made teas for 40 + years.
Prefer guano's myself but ewc works great too.
I buy knee high stockings, cut in half and tie the tube end closed and fill those with my nute material, get one of those little inch long air stones and drop in the stockin and tie off, drop in and let it rip.
I do use blackstrap as a food source.

I have to admit; The Catfish Angler in me just saw you doing this so easily, as congealed blood is a good bait for Bullheads and baby Channel Cats, but doesn't always stick on a hook to well LOL, and Pantyhose are essentially what you use.

I myself have only used a "Tea" once, but after reading what is added to some of the Soils we use, I can totally see Bullhead Bait being used to feed plants. The Tea I used was my very first year growing, and I'm not even sure what it was; It came already done up from another dude, and we used what we had of it. Making it myself though I feel like that's something I should be doing....

I need to do an experiment where I go out in spring time and get a scoop of bugs from under the bug zapper and add that into some soil and ashes and.... I mean there's blood in some soil (And certainly plenty in the garden where a few deer and a bear are buried) so I imagine there's got to be a way to make some out of whatever's slower than my hands?

Also, what is Blackstrap ? I've used Guano before as an additive to soil (I'm not so financially sound that I can buy new bags of Happy Frog EVERY time I need to fill a pot) and we normally will take the soil, add in some bat shit, give it a once over with a shovel, add some more in, and mix it up before adding it to pots. Seems to work pretty well so far but obviously I feel like I could be more efficient at this.

As for the smell.... Again, as a Catfish Angler, I think I'll be OK LOL.

I use teas a lot...and i do it a lot simpler than many

5 gallon water bottle...like the kind you fill with RO. Bubbler stone inserted and left to run.

I put 4 gallons of RO in it from my machine and i rotate 2 teas with water inbetween

1/2 cup of kelp
1/3 cup of alfalfa
1 tsp of humic
bubble for 24 i pour it off from the bell of the water bottle....like sediment in home brew..into a 5 gallon bucket and top it up to 5 gallons

every 20 or 30 gallon container gets 1 gallon per day. FOREVER.

The other tea i use a lot
3/4 cup of triple row organic pilsner malt (i live in canada eh...this shit is CHEAP)...bubble for 12 to 24..add 20 ml of fulvic to this and feed the plants.

The other 2 i really like are coconut water and aloe.

I top dress once a month with gaia 2 8 4...and thats how i grow organic.

Tastes so good i ponder just having 6 or 8 X 30 gallons in bloom... :D

if you add "enzyme's" to it you are making "triacontanol" which is a natural plant growth stimulator = this is very simuliar to Mammonth P (growth stimulator) to really juice it up add a bit of ash to the mix - -brew it for 24hrs/ You can go Build-a-soil for a video in making this. This "stuff" works Just to let you know that using this will increase your total yields and plant health !!!!! This is my secret sauce You have a very good "mix"

I too LOVE the tea. I might be a little strange but I have come to really enjoy the fresh earthy smell of the teas ?. I have been using this set up for years. I like that I can just open the valve and get what I need. Been using a hop bag which hasn't failed yet. Nothing beats the health of the plant and the flavor of the flower! And it's a 7 gal bucket So I can brew 1 -5 gal comfortably depending on my need atm.

you are making "tricontional" it's a natural growth stimulator (there is a post on Build-a-Soil in making it) the only thing you could add is "ash" if one doesn't want to brew it - consider MassiveBloom (Green Planet) or Mammonth P
