Hows them Cheeselicious coming so far?

Really well. They've been almost impossible to keep fed - started yellowing fans from bottom up just a couple weeks after flip. But they're gonna be massive when finished. They're in the back, so I have no idea about smells and such, which I'm bad at anyway.

I popped 5. In veg, they were almost all identical; short and bushy; but immediately stretched x3 - 4 after flip. Better pics would make it easier to see that the 2 in the bud tent remain quite similar. I've got one each in three different seed tents, and it's easy to spot them as they are also very similar.

Perhaps @Gentlemancorpse can chime in, as he said he raised a few previously.

@HydroRed yeah, mine were much the same as Amos describes, right down to them being absolute N whores. Always starving. But super uniform growth and big chunky nugs. And so far the cheesiest strain I've ever smoked and the impetus for me buying more cheese strains. It's the bar I judge other cheese strains against. Full disclosure of course, I've yet to smoke the original Exodus cheese though...

I have to admit I'm a little extra enthused about this tent of pollen receivers at 13 days post flip.

The male Strawberry Starbursts gave up a bucket load of gold dust from the two hefty males I kept. The female is tall and bushy, and was just supercropped.

I loved the IHG Animal Pies I grew. I have one seed left after this beauty, which will be the mom to Starberry Pie one day.

This clone of @HydroRed 's Greases Pieces was thrown in late, but is catching up.

I love this strain. It was one of my first grows but only one made it. I got the last 3 girls in the veg tent right now. I think I had the second pheno but my flower didn’t look near as good. Amazing job!

After some in progress projects get done I plan to revisit a few of the previous Brisco beans. Copper Orgi has been done as regs and fems, but it definitely needs to be on the menu one form or another. Which leads me to a question to anyone reading along:

Do you think it's more advantageous to the consumers that seed sellers have a consistent menu of crosses they're known for, or to have an ever changing rotation of offerings? Asked another way, do you prefer running dependable and familiar strains, or the adventures of variety?

Is it cheating to say both lol? Personally I clearly like to run new strains a lot, but when I really love a strain I want the ability to revisit it. If the breeder doesnt keep it in stock obviously we're SOL.

Likewise there's always a lag in a strain getting hyped. Someone has to buy it and grow it out and show everyone pictures on the forums (or the gram as the kids do these days). Sucks when you follow a whole grow and decide you like the results enough to try your hand at that strain yourself... but it's already long gone and never coming back.

Either approach seems to work. Keeping a mother and father healthy long term to keep strain consistent is a special skill set. The FOMO marketing model is dominant right now. Get it before it is gone forever, mostly fem so you know at best you might find an outcross or S1 if you are lucky. Mostly you will see pics in a weed mag, on instagram, or on a dispo shelf grown with no love.

honestly I like it when the breeder has 3-5 consistent crosses that they consider their masterpieces or legacy but then experiment with a few other crosses here amd there.

I really enjoy copper Orgi S1 it’s my go to when I need some good flower that keeps me up but kills the pain in my hands. And it has great flavor so for me I would love to be able to get a stock of it. When I purchased it (my first bean purchase ever) I didn’t know it was going to be one of the last times you put it up. Then the final time it was offered I ordered it but Paul accidentally had too many available so we talked and he sent me more then double what I paid for in other Briscos offerings. I know if you had them as a constant I would for sure buy them and tell others they were available again also.
