Brownies...tested and true

I tend to stick to 2 kinds of edibles. Brownies or Gummies that are very identifiable.

Ditch the betty crocker kits...they do not use enough fat. 1/2 a cup might work if you dabble but I prefer a recipe that uses 1 cup.
The bitterness of cocoa masks all but the NASTIEST coconut oil.
I generally use buds to make clean coconut oil for gummies. After I decarb and infuse the oil i save all that stuff leftover..which still holds coco oil.

I decarb all the leftovers from trimming (after kief removal sometimes) and make RSO out of it OR run it through the magical butter machine with oil...Sometime this will run 6 times...strain...reuse oil. Its humming along now and i have 4 cups ready to go. The MBM would be useless but it is VERY handy for this, My brownies are made from 100% leftovers :D lol
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup fry's cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans because i love em.
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla This is optional. I sometimes use Pepermint extract for a chocolate mint brownie

  • Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt in small bowl.
  • Melt butte/coco oil in a large saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa.
  • Blend in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  • Blend in dry ingredients.
  • Pour batter into greased baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until done. Cool.
Sifting is important, it is what ensures a proper mix of ingredients.

Another recipe I use...makes a gooier brownie (frys is more like a cake style brownie not so gooey). This is Rodelle Cocoa from costcos recipe

3/4 cup cocoa
3/4 cup sugar
5 eggs
1 cup of fat (coco/butter)
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 cups of sugar

Their instructions wont work with coco oil. So what you do is..combine the sugar with the coco oil and 3 eggs and beat it up til its smooth...add the other 2 eggs and then sift the cocoa powder flour salt into it. Bake for the same time as the others. Works like a champ once i figured it out.

Sugar with Coco oil binds... HARD...the eggs loosen it up. (if you used butter you cream the sugar with the butter and beat eggs in one at a time).

Solid and reliable recipes that can take 1 cup of fat each... Remember that time a Brownie knocked you out :D

1 cup of fat with 25% buds from the ardent (30 grams per cup is used) has 6000 mg of thc. So if i use the 6 cruller sized brownie molds they are 1k each.
Last time i put 1 1/2 grams of decarbed kief sprinkles on them... They were magical.
