Poppin’ Beans
Hydrogen peroxide ( the horticulture kind.27% -29%.) couple tablespoons to a gal, same for alcohol ( iso-99%) and a good squirt of dish soap.
next round add tobacco sauce,..
Neem oil works too, but I find it better via roots so it doesn’t guck up your buds if your in bloom, also that first mix, drop the alcohol if you’re in bloom, it fucks the trichomes if your not careful!.. hit them every 3 days,, it can take a month

Spider mites love heat and stagnant, non-moving air. They can’t mate in windy conditions so a strong fan can help keep the infestation from getting worse. A breeze also helps pest treatments go better because fans help spray treatments dry on the plant.

As mentioned above you really want to break up their ability to reproduce. I have successfully defeated mites with neem oil but I had to spray every plant 3 days intervals for about 4-5 weeks before those fuckers finally died.

I personslly dipped smaller plants and all clones and I basically tossed the bigger plants.

Back in the day you could just buy 4% pyrethrin foggers and kill absolutely everything. Now you can only get like .4% foggers.

I have to say tho, @BH has an AWESOME write up about mites that should be read!

Yeah dude is amazing at knowing these things.

I personally haven't sprayed my outdoor yet at all this year; We did have some beetles taking a crack at the plants, and I have seen Aphids on a few of them, but we released about 3,000 Ladybugs out there on each plant, and a few in the Father in Law's tent, and even though he has sprayed his plants with a few pest control sprays, his don't honestly look any better to my non sprayed ones so, for now? I'm letting the Ladybugs have at it and it's doing pretty well to be honest.

I do see on like a few of the plants, that I've got some white mold stuff coming in on a few that are gonna need some Green Clean to take care of it, so I cut some branches off them to open some air flow up a bit more, and to make it easier for spraying them with the Green Clean.

It'll be my first time spraying this year which I'm happy about. I see Ladybugs on almost every plant watching them like soldiers LOL. I also see them humping on the plants so I give them space when I can (Ladybugs attacks mites at every stage of their life) to be sure to have more :)

Father in Law has this "stuff" he got.... You add it to the water before watering the plants, and it's supposed to "make the plant taste bad to the bugs"...... I'll be Honest here, I've got no idea what exactly is in that stuff, but it doesn't seem to really work, and adding something to the plant that will make it taste bad seems like.... I dunno I haven't used any and have ZERO intention of starting.... If it makes the plants taste bad to bugs I fear what it would do to the actual buds to be Honest.

I personally don't use Neem oil at all; The smell is repulsive and this is coming from someone who's got congealed Chicken Blood in the shed for small Catfish bait. It also seems to damage the leaves a lot and all around not work that well.

Spider Mites mate, lay eggs, and even if you spray that the eggs can take like 2 weeks to hatch, which means you then spray everything again after 2 weeks to try and kill them. My plants are too big to spend that much money spraying that stuff, and Ladybugs are 10 dollars. They have been doing very well, and though I have leaves that are damaged from the beetles and a few Aphids trying to get a foot hold on my plants, my plants literally don't look worse than his, and he's been spraying the entire time.

In Bloom
neem should not be used in flower as it flavors the buds. but if you use neem in veg the plants are more resistant to pests in flower.

in my private spaces, i don't use neem or anything at all really because i don't get bugs. this is because of my cleanliness protocols but in larger rooms, you are going to get them sometimes no matter what you do.

i have found dyna-gro neem at 1 oz per gallon with 1 oz 91% isopropyl alcohol and 1/2 oz dr bronners peppermint soap to be a knockdown killer and then a long-term preventive.

in large rooms we sprayed all vegging plants twice a week with this solution.

in flower i used swirskii predator mites.

two-spotted spider mites can't fly so diatomaceous earth on top of the medium helps. don't tolerate any flying bugs because mites are hitchhikers.

Yes I do, the powder version is cheaper . Liquid version of Grandevo is the cannabis label and the other is the wdg , same thing but way cheaper it’s not like it’s hard to mix in at all. Use it both on cannabis and fruit and veggies for almost 10 years, funny thing was first 4-5 years I didn’t even do cannabis sprays with that cause marrone didn’t even mention it. ?

vs non cannabis

application rate of Grandevo is 2-4 Tper gallon , switch from venerate ( rate at 2-5 T) or Grandevo in-every foliar Batch , mix in the regalia for a SAR effect at 1oz per gal.

Being Marrone made this super easy to mix with other products and be cross compatible with so much, they left out the wetting agent. for many reasons I agree why and glad they did it that way. So when foliar ing and if they products if u do misx does not have a wetting agent. Add one cause it makes all the difference from full coverage and the spray falling off ur leafs. i would suggest anything with yucca extract

Another note, please read my sop on mites ( if u haven’t ) cause if infected with medium-high infection. I highly suggest using knock out approach if not in flower past 3/4 week so the mites are def purged down by population .

quick knockout diy (greencleaner diy ) 1/3 91% iso , 1/3 canola oil l,1/3 sals soap, application rate = 1-2oz per gallon
make sure your plants are highly watered or it will fry em. also before measuring shake the crap out of the concentration, once concentration mix into water let it stay mixed for a good 5-10 minutes to make sure that mixture gets soluble into the water aka mixed in. Always spray ur foliars 3hrs before high ppfd light is back on or bam you fried ur plants, can’t blame the mix for that. Also keep ur room cooler if you can (under 75f) during this spray and 3hrs min before temp going back up

If obvious infection apply 2 oz first time, wait 12hr-24hr , reapply at 2 oz again, next day 1 oz, next day 1 oz, than 3 days after apply Grandevo or venerate with regalia . past 3/4 week only use biocontrols cause a knockout like I gave example will def hurt ur bud quality and also stresses the plant. This is also why u don’t want to rely on such and only use them when infection/pressure exist.

Man I appreciate it so much..I'm trying to follow your guide word for word. I did also get some yucca wetting agent which also just isn't here yet.. probably tomorrow the yucca and venerate will be here also..My pressure right now is extremely low due to the organishield I used every three days for a few weeks..was messing with the scope and actually found a adult mite..That's when I decided time to follow BH word for word..Only thing I'll do different is the sprayer you use..I'm on a way smaller scale and this Petra tools sprayer is the absolute shit...Wish I had one a long time ago
