Bullfrog's Grow Pad

Yeah, ammonia describes it pretty well. She's just starting though so it could change drastically. She's definitely not the norm for me, in growth habit or smell. Love having a variety to smoke and this one will be a new one.

Looking forward to finding out how Sour Cheesecake is, first time with the strain so we're still strangers.

Sounds great :) can't wait to hear as it continues

Livers Bx-47 days from sprout, she's a puny little plant. Didn't seem like it got stunted, has just been a very slow but steady grower right from the start. I did thin it up a little about a week after it started to make hairs and it didn't seem to bother it, it is just so thick with side growth. Maybe next time I'll try and be a little more aggressive in training and pruning it.

The smell: still a pretty strong odor of urine when you first open the tent but if you stick your nose in her she's starting to smell of garlic with maybe a hint of onion. Not even the slightest skunky by my nose. My sister was over and gave it a sniff and immediately crinkled her nose.

My poor Desert Roses, I don't think they really care for the constant 18 hours of daylight. They don't want to grow foliage, just throw flowers. They'll be happy when they can go back outdoors.

Garlic Onion and Skunk.... shit....
It looks like I'm going to get a few seeds off Livers also. I had just enough pollen from a Money Shot male that I grew outside last summer to pollenate a couple branches and it looks to have worked its magic. That plant also smelled like piss and had a nice big, beautiful structure. Pretty sure it was one of my first males that showed too. I also used that Money Shot male to make seeds from a really sweet bubblegum plant. Haven't tried any of those seeds yet. I grew 3 Money Shot plants and all of them were Male, this pollen was from the best one of the three.

Big growth in the 3x3 over the last week. Gorilla Mittens in the rear are starting to shine. The Big Bud in front looks like it would like to become a monster. Should take some cuts and grow them out in my buddy's garden, they'd be tree's as he gets full sun from sunup to damn near sunset. Gave him 6 fem plants last year and he turned it into 6lb dried bud. Had 2 gallons of CBD oil made. Needless to say, he's wanting more plants. He had 12 of his own started and I don't think any made it to harvest. He gave me one of his that wasn't going to finish and stupidly I brought it into my grow pad and introduced pests. Thought I could contain them to the one 2x2, but they migrated. I'll never do that again.

Starting to see some preflowers a couple of both male and female identified so far. Not sure how much longer I want to let this tent veg. It's knee-high right now, was thinking halfway between my waist and my knee, then flip to 12/12.

Plants look nice too.

A few yrs. back I made the same mistake, bringing outdoor plants inside. Was a costly learning experience I'll bet. I know it was for me. We're all human.
Looking great now though, eh. ?
That really is a fine line rolling the dice manoeuvre . I’ve had some excellent results vegging outside and bringing them in to flower .
I also got smashed by spider mites through doing this .
Cost me a world of pain to rid them ?‍♂️

It was sheer stupidity. I knew it had bugs, mites and aphids and was well into bud, so I didn't want to spray it. They ended up getting in the tent with my lemon dosidope, had to veg that plant for 3 months trying to get rid of the mites. I never had a bug problem that bad before. I do bring my Adeniums in from outside, but they quarantine for as long as needed before they even think about going into the tents. Like I said never again. You'd think I would've learned, 2 summers ago I tried to bring some cuts in from the woods and introduced mites, although it didn't get as bad. No more outside plants in the tents, unless I happen to set up a quarantine tent.

I can laugh now but at the time it felt like an intentional kick in the nuts.

Yeah I feel your pain lol
I can handle everything but those mites
They’re like sending a death squad into the jungle
They have one purpose only ☠️

Yeah she does, smells pretty good too, hard to pick out a certain smell but it's funky and sweet. I figure 3 weeks to go, should be so frosty, already is.

Costed me a ton more work and lost time, so yeah it stunk bad. Won't do it again. Took a good 3 months after I brought that plant in to be 100% bug free. Actually I still have some springtails but they don't seem to be very many, at least not yet.

Last week I thought this plant was a male. Then it started throwing pistils. Looks like both male and female to me but it's been a while since I've seen a herm. Looking for some reassurance before I give it the axe.

Man, I really do hate chopping these plants before they've given up their goodies. But I don't have the time to be messing with trying to pinch it's balls, looks like a lot of nodes with balls coming on. Two other plants in this tent show no signs, one of the two have been in this tent for 6 weeks with no problems so I don't believe it's environmental.

Yup, thats a herm.

Im with you, I dont mess with intersex plants anymore. They get the axe immedietely. Its probably genetics, Ive seen way more herms popping up lately.

Then again, maybe wait for a second opinion. Im trigger happy when plants look off these days, I dont want the responsibility of deciding this ppants fate lol
Thanks dude. I was 99% sure but needed that confirmation to feel better about axing it.

It was from my homegrow stash. My first ever indoor run I ran some homegrow seeds and I had intersex problems but I had both vents open almost all through flower and had a roomate staying in my grow room at the time so the light was always on. I had no idea, lol, until I started to notice balls then started to investigate, light leaks, fixed the problem but not before I had seeds. One plant in that tent didn't want to stop throwing balls. I believe that's where this plant came from so it's not really surprising. Pretty rare for me to find intersex in my homegrow but I have found it a couple times, it's been a few years though.
