CBD dominate growing

Ok, i didnt really see a place for this but at least we can start here.
I'm finnally growing some cbd type plants.
Our drug type cannabis plants we grow to produce thc and we promote mass production through growing techniques.
Its in the resin gland on the outsides of the plants.
The cbd is not the same from what i gather, it is "in" the plant material. Is this correct or am i wrong?
Reason I'm asking is if i did any trimming would i just be cutting good plant material that cbd can be claimed from or is the cbd only in the flowers?
My plans are to produce tincture after the decarb process for medicinal uses.

I would imagine it is in the trichomes the same as thc but what do I know lol. I myself have been consuming more cbd dabs from pressing hemp flower from industrial hemp farms. I make RSO with 99.9% ISO also and doing 50/50 hemp and my own flower. It really seems to make me feel better than thc alone. I need to start making my concentrate like you do. I was going through an old post of yours about how you reclaim the alcohol. If I could reclaim I would buy some organic grain alcohol. I am going to start growing my own cbd strains. No telling what kind of bullshit is in the IHF flower.

This article implies that CBD trichomes are treated no differently than THC chomes, in respect to concentrate process

"" How does one make CBD extracts without using a solvent? Simply enough, you just have to apply heat, pressure, or a bit of friction to hemp flowers and leaves. How do you do that, you wonder? Well, if you freeze hemp flowers, you can shake the small trichomes loose and gather them together. These trichomes, as you might know, contain the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes found in the hemp plant. ""

And you OCD victims will see that they have fixed the Pepsi logo,,
So,,,,
They obviously know what they are doing. ?

CBD bred stock does not have a definitive look, other than that predominantly most of it is Broad Leaf. I have held and worked with an extensive CBD collective amassed here by a compassion club. I had to cut and root hundreds of cuts while I made thousands of seeds that were all freely shared without a tag of recognition. I didn't do it though for anything else other than helping sick people get better when possible. I often wonder about the work and all of the 13 cuts I selected out of the 40 I began with.

After those few years I realized just how much CBD dominant and 1:1 types I have culled digging through old school as well as the ancestral cultivars known better as "Land Races".

From what I recall CBD is in the leaves, flowers and stalks. Though iirc they just stripped the vegetative plant mass and flowers at my buddies farm. Left stalks in the ground. Though I think stems do contain cannabinoids also and would have benefit.
When I first started making RSO I only used flower and trim. After thinking about it, I decided to look at all parts of the plant with my loupe. What I seen is trichomes and hairs everywhere. So now I use all leaves and some stem material. Eventually I hope to be able to afford to buy a good keif tumbler or something to help collect as much as possible. I recently started consuming organic hemp seed oil that has had a 50/50 combo my flower and Hot Blond cbd hemp flower. I let it soak for a week and strained it through a 75 micron bag. I've been filling OO gelatin capsules with it and taking with food or whenever. I figure I am getting plenty of cannabinoids between dabbing at 435 degrees, seed oil and RSO. I just hate using ISO. But that the only practical means for me to be able to make enough to share with friends and family.

I use everclear or shine if i have any on hand for my extractions then distill most off.
I really need to set up a short path distillation for this cbd harvest so i can pull all the alcohol off.

1/2 gallon goes a long ways, you can do 1/2 pound of bud at a time.

I need to make some tincture like you make. What's weird is the RSO and combo of cbd/thc actually energizes me more than anything. If I take too big a dose I can hardly sleep. Great for daytime. Should I let my flower go to a lot more amber trichomes? I'm working on a more indica source. I have some BOG Sour Grape almost ready at day 54 and mostly cloudy. Looks bad ass for concentrates. Ill post pics tomorrow as Ill be home after lights off.

I have a friend that is a Biology professor at the University level. He teaches a Botany course in Cannabis.
But the University will only allow him to grow hemp flower, so he has garbage bags full of the stuff.
He was looking for a way to use some of the product, and also have a teaching tool for the students.
What we came up with was a CBD topical lotion. It has a coconut oil base and just uses easily sourced ingredients.
Personally I use it for my knees and I believe it helps me. The professor has provided it for lots of people and it has been well received.
I know I take less Tylenol now.
Just wanted to share.
Cheers,
WillieP

PS
A strain called Berry Blossom was the one that had the highest CBD level of the strains they grew and tested.

Got a couple of Ringo's gift bag seed going from mail order bud out of Oregon.. found it strange that one of them is a male even stranger the male is the shorter pheno that I was liking better.. Not real sure why they would have males around any thoughts on that? Definitely wasn't expecting a male.. found 7 seeds in a half ounce of flower...
