You all rock.................

so I guess i worked on chain saws all morning. day lol
STIHL saws are specifically built for there chains, bar oil and mix. Don’t use any other then specially STIHL Or you will shorten your life expectancy of your STIHL chainsaw or any other STIHL machinery, IE, blower, trimmer, etc.
Fuck, I sound like a walking STIHL poster child?‍♂️
do you have a hook up...LOL I'm going to buy one ...................... I need to get something thats going to last..... been looking at that 271 this morning..... and that's why I'm asking more??? about this...... I want to do it right..................

I'll probably get roasted for this lol but I just bought 2 of the poulan pro 50cc saws, one is 4 yrs old the other is 2, they work fantastic lol 100$ on sale 20 in bar, throw away the safety chain it comes with get full chisel chains for whatever you have, huge difference, I then slotted the adjustment screw on the carbs adjusted about an eighth turn in the richer direction and drilled a 3/4 in hole in the muffler, they absolutely rip when you get the carb dialed in, way more power and they run pretty cool as well, 2 saws and 2 chains ran 240 ish and I can cut all day just alternating them, unknown fact as well the 50cc 20in bar poulans are made by husqavarna, I checked internals ??????

I'm a tinkerer lol I've had 2 Stihl pieces and shit went South quick lol did some digging in the big poulans all the other models suck ass, and with the residential grade stuff they run em so lean for emissions if you go hard on em the cylinders eat themselves, doing that little carb exhaust mod let's em run in a much friendlier range of temps, plus I'm cheap as all hell so catching the 50cc model on sale for 99 was a no brainier once I realized it was just a rebranded husky, cheaper bar and chain, I just bought replacements from Oregon chains as well, you know how it goes if you cut a lot they get wrecked pretty easy lol. I've got a lot of hours on both saws and no problems ever, and I mean a lot ???

ROAST ROAST ROAST! :ROFLMAO:
I’m sure there’s people that don’t like Stihl either.

Like I said I need something bigger also....

I got trees now....... View attachment 8375 View attachment 8377 View attachment 8380 View attachment 8381
I’m guessing that 3/16 chain?
I’m not kicking your saw, at all, but just how close your hands are on the saw suggests it’s more of a trim saw?
Not getting a lot of leverage, make sense?
It’s nice to have a saw with good dogs to lean into it. Trying to explain this may not be working?
20” should be part of the possible future upgrade?
Old days, we’d be on our way!
I know you got :weedleaf::weedleaf:
Wish I could help.
