Well, after attempting to reach out to Greenhouse Seed Co. I think I'm barking up the wrong tree so to speak....

I asked them a question about the Exodus Cheese they sell. This is what transpired:

First the ticket was closed by accident which they did answer me after that.

I asked if what they had was a selfed Skunk pheno or, was it the Big Buddha Cheese?

I was told I couldn't obtain seeds because I'm American. I explained that I want trying to obtain the seeds, and just wanted to know if it was real Cheese, or Big Buddha Cheese.

They replied today and said they couldn't give advise on strains, and that hopefully the law would change soon.... I understand English is not likely to be their first language but I'm a bit confused why they cohosh answer that. So I think I'm gonna skip trying to find that out lol.

Ah well, I just had to try.

Your grounded! Lol. Bro you didn't do anything wrong, I hit them up just to see if I could get the info. I knew they had something they called Exodus Cheese and after watching Franco on YouTube talk about it I wanted to find out more.

I'm not worried though; they don't deal with "my kind" Hahaha.

Man as much as I really hate to even say anything negative about anyone or any place...I'll just put it this way and leave it alone...I stay completely away from greenhouse for very good personal reasons...Super Lemon Haze is literally the only strain they offer more than likely even worth talking about..I don't want a negative discussion about them...Just my take and OPINION on the situation...Save your time and money?

However ....if you decide you would like to give them a shot you can source there seeds thru various seed banks. You don't have to deal with them direct

I think whole issue is people are seeing “cheese“ and wanting funky rotting cheese or a high profile smelling cheese. i have grown many cheese crosses and the clone ( very verified dude who had it ) too. I also bought cheese in early 2000’s and it was same taste. It’s that creamy tone like milk. Many strains have it and it’s not like it’s crazy louder than many I see same tone. it’s like the skunk theory’s when people wanna make it out to be not here anymore but reality is peoples meteorites are ethier wrong and altered in the memory or it was also a big thing if u didn’t have good bud and was mainly on supply of how it was back than any homegrown and exp spedial profile was ultra rare and expensive . its like saying sour d is gone but good lord I can grow or smoke so many and they are crazy sour, how much sour can there be beyond something that hits ya mouth and last after u smoke it and taste it. not to bust anyone’s balls just saying like the milk and many profiles like cheese, dont expect it to be rotting cheese or some unique loud smelling cheese. It’s creamy

As a example look At cookies n cream, reminds me of that and bonus is the bag appeal is way better, those old schooler strains aren’t favored and that tone really isn’t that special cause many have cream/milk. when I hunt I can find cream or pine or skunk so often, def top tones. It’s just when people wrongly write descriptions exp if selling seeds and making it sound like the real thing or way stronger than the reality of the material and limits Of what it really , it sells but also makes people think wrongly obviously. there’s many terp combos but sometimes it’s not a exact copy of the non cannabis thing. I’m okay with that and tbh love the combos of stuff u can also make /grow

I see same people going in a circle of what ifs and acting like even thou cheese is all over market clone to seed they are gonnea somehow find a stronger version, my argument is of the moms dont have those profiles its not likely it will pop out without luck or picking a parent to boost its overall “cheese”
But . this is where the internet doesn’t work to prove truth and makes people not know what’s rigth.if u want to sell ur tested seeds and claim u founded This “all new level” level or uniqueness , how hard would it be… too easy ( not saying all are bs just saying a lot def play pic game and bs their profiles) , how often have the cannabis breeders do this claim but also it isn’t proven even when direct cut that it isn’t what the claims are? this is another reason why I like to find my own cuts cause people def will find a better bag appeal pheno and online claim bs terps and flavors to hype it if they wanna sell it. if this isn’t true why have I tossed majority of highly paid and legit cuts and kept my seeds version and have u heard more. That and transfer of disease,pest and virus is so easy done by cut trades/sales.


of all the seeds, clones that had cheese in it the confidential cheese and blue cheese by Barney were strongest terp profiles and they made me think of cheese , but was it more “cheesy” ? tbh it was funky and had some creamy tones. this is why I’m saying UKcheese by itself not loud funky /rotten cheese, but has creamy tones. if it was me I would look for a super loud funky strain and breed it with cheese/and or creamy strain. I did however grow a i-95 cross that smelled ultra creamy and sour, It was so strong on the sour it almost smelled spoiled if it was food lol


this isn’t bashing, just a honest to core review cause ive went down the rabbit hole for a good 10+ years from seeds to clones and direct bud from many people and it always showed that cream For cheese. Didn’t matter if it was me who grew it, diff clones or diff seeds. If it was cheesey it was just creamy ( some seeds obviously had mixture profiles but the cheese profiles def was very obvious for that )

like if it was me and It was my project for cheese/funky I would cross donny burger or gmo and do cheese crossed with her Vs trying to do cheese x cheese.


another factor is why many strains are not as strong terp wise is bad process and cure, way they grow it and when it’s consumed. when I. Went less medium and non organics I def noticed many same strains their profiles changed or became way less strong. call me bs but look why big ag on fruit and many ag farming they know after soil analysis the micro nutes and microbes/fungi Communication and relationshi that make that a better quality end product vs synthetics And only hydro growing

Yeah I don't have any ill will towards them or anything but I've heard you mention before your feelings. I'm not ordering it by any means; we have on point top genetics right here.

Yeah that creamy thing has been on my mind lately; I've been exploring strains known for creamy and I've really enjoyed them. Cheese totally has that creamy thing, and generally a nice peppery side too, and I sushi noticed last season that Chem D after a long cure (5+ months) started having a legit fruity pebbles milk and all with lemon cleaning product smell and taste that I love.

I'm kind of wondering if that milk and cream thing is what draws me to those so much to begin with.

I do have to say that Susie Cream Cheese is totally capable of Limburger Cheese smells, and now it's Mozzarella so she has been a huge find for me.

Blue Cheese is for sure the most pungent in my opinion / experience as I've gotten really skunky pissy odors from a mystery cross , though I've had one plant that was not unlike a Cheese Danish really.

I've had UK Cheese, though the smell was almost non existent as it was REALLY dry from a dispensary and I try not to make an opinion on smell when it's dried up dispensary weed, but I had to have some, and the effects were still exactly what I wanted, and now I do have UK Cheese I can finally grow myself, and even if I don't have some fabled smell, I at least have a good chance for the effects I experienced from it which is great in my opinion.

You also mentioned Donny Burger which I actually found out about looking for strains which a Cheesy terpene profile and haven't had any as of yet but it's totally on my list. I've seen it grown here and it looked wonderful!

The GMO is another great idea for breeding into a Cheese as it's another of my favorite strains. This year's harvest of that is in Grove Bags smelling like straight up garlic butter cooked onions and I love it. I've actually had the GSC done right once in my life and it boggles my mind something so sweet with Chem D added in turns out like that lol.

Yeah GMO would be a lovely idea to add to a good Cheese strain. Specially if that Garlic note was added to that creamy one. Red's Mother's Milk stuff also has crossed my mind a few times for that reason.

At the end of the day I'm pretty happy with what we have going on here to be honest. I do have the UK Cheese, and I know I love the effects on that, but I'm also gonna be running stuff from our community as I've LOVED the results.

I do have to say for Susie Cream Cheese and that actual Cheese funk she's got, I'm thinking the Cheeselicious part is responsible for that smell, and as soon as I've got a permanent tent I'm popping that bean to find out lol.

Solid points...facts...that's probably a more accurate statement...sure has been alot of talk but never solid results..I've surely ran across some crazy ass putrid smells. Perhaps ppl even confuse that with skunk..ppls perception of what a strain "should be" and even a breeders perfect pheno doesn't line up with what they think it should be... To many variables....

I think strain description should be even more vague than ppl describe and hype..It's rarely about the actual strain that's important...The selection within that strain is what it's all about and alot of ppl struggle with that fact?

Solid points...facts...that's probably a more accurate statement...sure has been alot of talk but never solid results..I've surely ran across some crazy ass putrid smells. Perhaps ppl even confuse that with skunk..ppls perception of what a strain "should be" and even a breeders perfect pheno doesn't line up with what they think it should be... To many variables....

Yeah I actually read a description online of a person describing that the "real" actual cutting of the first Cheese, smelled like Sharp Cheddar.... I'll be straight up here; I've NEVER smelled that exact thing in Weed myself. Susie totally has the Cheese smell but it's not Cheddar. So you have to wonder wtf they're talking about at one point.

Now I do have to say that Susie during Veg smelled like Strawberry candy and Limburger Cheese (That sweaty feet smack you in the nose smell, a good proper WTF moment LOL) but as she aged that candy smell went away Thank God, and what was left was straight up pungent Cheese which made my heart warm.

Now I just need to get a permanent tent so I can actually run that Cheeselicious and see if that's as I expect, where it's coming from.

I mean OG Kush X Exodus Cheese.... That's a pretty sweet combo in my opinion. Love OG Kush as it is, but adding that cut to the mix whew!

I think strain description should be even more vague than ppl describe and hype..It's rarely about the actual strain that's important...The selection within that strain is what it's all about and alot of ppl struggle with that fact?
Yea ! I don't know maybe like "Seedfinders.eu" genetics descriptions (are the best) as for the "hype" ? can't really depend too much on that for seed pruchase but are fun to read but the best is from are from use cultivators -GorwDaries.com also has picture shows

I guess what i meant by that was...And I go thru this constantly talking with my uncle..He says ..Oh this strain or that strain is the shit...Well ya maybe it is..But without looking thru seeds and making a selection no description really matters to me....I guess that description would be fine for clones or cuts being sold..but seeds...I've seen absolute fire and absolute garbage within the same pack..I mean who hasn't found plants that look like two different strains within one pack especially within f2s and such ?
